If I could give it 0 stars I would. My sister and I came here to support a seemingly small local coffee shop but were taken aback by how terrible the overall experience was. The coffee tastes awful. The sizes are virtually no different from each other. The staff was nasty and rolled our eyes at us while taking our order and when we were nothing but up-beat and nice to them. I do not recommend coming. Go to Dunkin’ Donuts across the street instead or drive an hour away to go to a Starbucks.

Good coffee. I give this guy 5 stars because he is his own guy. He isn't catering to the customer and the need to always be polite. He is a good guy but if you are someone who complains and don't pay attention to signs then you may not like this place, as he seems to think like a libratarian. Cool feature is his own crypto mining computer in the corner. He makes coffee and he is about people taking personal responsibility. Most of the negative reviews are focused on not wearing a mask which I believe he would say you are welcome to that opinion so go somewhere else. He was fast and polite at 7 am which is what I want when I go to get a morning cup of coffee. My only complaint is that he opens late for us vacationers who need a 6 am place... Which most places in duck/Corolla open 7 or later.

Coffee is phenomenal - not too sweet, perfect balance. The owner is nice, hilarious, and knows how to make a dang good cup of Joe! After we discovered this place, we only come here when we're in Corolla. Save yourself the trouble of looking around and just head here. You're welcome

Walked in to get breakfast as the sign out front proudly advertise coffee, sandwiches, and wraps. As we browse the menu while waiting in line we notice the decent selection of wraps and sandwiches. We then see a sign that says that sandwiches and wraps are “out of season”. Sound it odd since that’s not s real thing, but okay we will get a bagel instead. We then walk up to the counter and order our coffee and bagel. “If you want bagel then go to the bagel shop” as the manager angrily points. At this point we are very confused as it seems the menu has no correlation to what they actually serve there. We then headed the extremely rude managers advice and went a few stores down to get delicious bagels. We unfortunately ended up still getting coffee from them which was also a mistake. It was one of the most confusing coffee shop experiences I’ve ever been apart of. Save yourself the effort and just stand in line at the bagel place a couple stores down it’s worth the wait.

Very rude and terrible service! I ordered an iced lattee to the person at the register. I was given a hot latte, and very kindly informed the man that I had ordered an iced latte. He then became verbally aggressive and started pointing at signs around the shop and yelling at me. I ultimately told him to keep my money and left. The patrons behind us came up to us outside the building and said "wow, that was terrible" and had said they had never seen a customer be treated so poorly. Fortunately it is only a beautiful 2 mile walk to the South to get Starbucks. I never write Google reviews but this experience was beyond comprehension.

I LOVE this little locally owned coffee shop. Delicious coffee and pastries. Quiet and friendly. Perfect spot for morning news, check out the Outer BAnks This Week. com articles on line about this little spot! It will take you about them roasting their own coffee !

Wanted to like this place. Love supporting small businesses. Total lack of respect for their customers by not wearing masks during a pandemic means that I would rather drink gas station coffee than give them any of my money.

I rode my bike here after watching the sunrise this morning. I arrived shortly after they opened. I was greeted warmly. The gentleman who took my order was friendly, engaged in good conversation, and was prompt to take my order.
I ordered an Americano. It was fresh, hot, and full of good coffee flavor. I say on the outdoor patio watching traffic flow by. It was a beautiful morning to sit outside and sip the Americano.
The place had a steady stream of customers coming and going. It is conveniently located in the shopping plaza with the entrance being visible from the main roadway.
I strongly recommend checking this coffeeshop out if you are visiting the area. I enjoy supporting the local small business.

I wanted to support locals while visiting from out of town; however, found the Americano to taste terrible- unlike anything I've ever had before- threw the entire cup away. Wished I had gone to Starbucks that I passed on the way!!

We went in the off season, so there were fewer food options (just pastries, no wraps) which I totally understand! Open early and daily, unlike many other coffee shops up this end of the island. Piping hot coffee, friendly owner. Lots of mugs, beans, other swag for sale. Free WiFi and clean loo **for customers** and a few table to sit and work or enjoy your beverages.
