I love this gem and I love the service. I don't want to tell too many people because selfishly I don't want a :25 min coffee line like a few other places I once enjoyed. However, this place is perfect. Staff, drinks, atmosphere. But keep it on the low please 😜

What a great find for super smooth coffee and fantastic friendly service, also a great selection of specialty sandwiches and wraps which are very nice. Chilled out and very comfortable. See you again real soon.

Great little El Salvadoran shop. Drip coffee was on point! Parking is tight. Clean and bright.

The cashier/barista needs to speak up for sure. I can’t imagine anyone can hear if it gets busy. The ambience is pretty cool & the latte wasn’t bad, but wasn’t exactly that perfectly balanced cup either.

I had a very nice experience today at Sumaq Coffee, I loved the decoration, the staff were so friendly, the coffee was perfect and i recommend the Nutella roll.
We had friends gathering thanks Sumaq.
We had a quality time and for sure we will come back.

The space reminds me of a class in the university except for the tree which makes the whole space much more comfortable.
I tried the last sandwich on the menu, actually a wrap with a chicken ($10) and it was delicious however I was a bit hungry afterwards. It needs a side. I also tried one of the empanadas and while the crust is tasty I didn't particularly enjoy the inside with the egg and the olive. The service was very good when you order and then you have to pick up the food. I want to come back and try other things.

My girlfriend and I were excited to try a new coffee shop. Especially one that's only a few minutes from the house. We walked in and loved the look and feel of the shop. We walked up to the couter and saw the menu and it was nicely done and the pastries were right up my alley. The employee (who didn't greet us as we walked in) was making orders in fairness, Never looked up or even acknowledged that we were standing there. We stood there for I know was 3 minutes. If you don't think that's a long time. Sit still without looking at your phone or speaking for 3 minutes. We looked at one another and decided to drive down to Pineville to Amalies where they were 4x as busy and we were greeted as we walked in and when we got to the counter. I'm not one that says "I'll never come here again" everyone has a bad day. However you only get 2 shots at my wallet. Hopefully it's better the next time. I love supporting local businesses.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Charlotte! I ordered the dulce de leche which was really smooth and not too sweet. The interior is beautiful and very relaxing. I definitely recommend coming here to sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee with friends!

Been here a few times. I love the ambience, and coffee is great. Service is real time vs hustle and bustle, so don't expect to pop in and out like a Starbucks, this place makes you slow down;-)

My mother and I were really excited to visit this place. Unfortunately the customer service was non existent. We approached the counter to look at the menu and to of course place an order. We were never greeted. 2 young men whom I assume was a barista and maybe a cashier literally stared at us with a face of confusion. After standing there for a few minutes without being greeted, my mother finally asked the guy about placing an order and he looked at her with a dumb stare. I’m not sure if there was a language barrier but the service was terrible. We chose to take our service else where after not feeling welcomed by the staff, which was a disappointment. I do. It recommend this space based on the poor customer service .
