I had a very good Espresso today!
Thank you Stacey!

The place is very comfortable to sit.
And is kid friendly, feels very local, not a chain...
Local musicians can play there as well!

Near to Office Depot...

We LOVE Madison Perk! Drinks are so good and they have great food options too! Walking there with my family has become one of my favorite weekend activities. There are books and toys to keep kids occupied while we relax. Awesome family atmosphere on the weekend, great place to read or bring a laptop as well.

Is life a simulation? Is coffee your stimulation? If Madison Perk Coffee Bar were to be built in the metaverse…the digital domain design tab it would live under would be “Modern Style Cafe”. Click Drag, Drop and Twirl to make it fit into your virtual world.

The ceilings were high and industrial but painted black so it had a disappearing effect. The floor was vast and of the shined epoxy concrete family line. The blend of wood and earth toned accoutrements were accented by poppin patterned furniture. Fridges hummed noticeably in the distance and contained those little add-on products that your mouth wants but your pockets don’t always need. Oh so tempting. The menu was clear and in perfect view above your brain for making a masterful selection from lattes, drips and eats. It was clear….The handbook on how to create a “Cool Cafe” had been read.

I settled on a drip coffee and before I could say “I drink it strong” I realized this this was their motto posted around the shop. #drinkitstrong . I added the peanut butter banana wrap thingy and sat to sip my Joe while I waited for the food to materialize. The coffee was really mouth friendly and strong but not overly so with a smooth calm finish..like my lady. The wrap arrived hot off the TurboChef and it didn’t look like much but tasted pretty good overall. I would’ve loved the incorporation of some sort of berry or jam dip and perhaps a slightly salted butter glaze on the exterior for that extra pelvic thrust.

Before I could exit I noticed the stage off in the corner indicating that this place gets active sometimes…and Daddy likes dat. Actually I wanted more of that. I wanted to know who the owner was and what they were into but expressed through more design cues around the shop. Things were very neutral. Anywhooos…I resisted the desire to hit the stage with my Persian Four Fingered Flute and made my exit. When in #Charlotte I’ll be back to try more of Madison’s Perk…perhaps with a soundtrack. Thanks for reading and I hope this review helps someone make the right cafe decision. Follow along on my journey across everywhere to review absolutely everything! The iced mocha was really good and the wraps were delicious. Great to have a coffee shop in the neighborhood that we can walk to!

Coffee beans lacked flavour. Very bland.
My latte had far too many bubbles.
Great place to bring kids - alot of parent groups.

I have tried SO many coffee shops all over the country and Madison Perk is my absolute favorite! I'm so lucky it's just five minutes from me. All of the drinks are amazing and I love that they're open later than most coffee shops. It's so nice to go somewhere where they know your name - the environment is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend it for early morning meetings, an afternoon pick-me-up, or evening relaxing with a drink or two. My happy place!

Hands-down, that was the best Chai Latte I ever had! Such a happy satisfaction ☕️ The ambience was lovely on a rainy Saturday 🌧️ Perhaps I should plan to attend their evening music next time!

Went here twice, espresso was meh, second time got dirty chai, really not great. They don’t have glasses for people dining in. Just seems weird.

The food is awful. My reheated frozen breakfast burrito is dry and 3 days from sell by date according to sticker. And practically burned my mouth. Reminiscent of hot pockets or frozen burritos you can make at home for $2 vs the $9 charge here.

Couldn’t get my self to eat it, had to toss it out..

Visiting the area for a few weeks and luckily found Madison Perk my first morning! Incredible drip coffee. I would love to try their espresso drinks but I don’t think I will be able to skip the drip!

What a great space in terms of working remotely, meeting with friends, or just people watching within walking distance of a Madison Park residence. Food, coffee, and customer experience are all top notch. Website also is extensive and well maintained.
