Our favorite source for fresh whole beans in the Charlotte area! Also available for purchase at other local markets but if we can get them straight from the source why not? Our faves are the Honduras and Guatemalan for espresso, their espresso roasts are a little darker than our preference but still excellent and pull a mean shot

Above and beyond service!! The staff even surprised me and re-made my latte that was slightly below temp, even when I told them it was fine! Loved the kids steamed drink too! And only $1.50! Great stop.

FABULOUS local coffee shop. Ask for Coby! Delicious brews and you can get beans to brew at home ☕️

By giving 2 stars, I'm not saying it was a bad place in regard to the coffee, but the hours are odd (8am - 2pm) and not open on Sundays at all. Location is weird too as it is right on a very busy street with several mechanic/car mod businesses across the street and if you're sitting outside, forget having a conversation because every couple of minutes a car/motorcycle/four-wheeler takes off with full acceleration and modified exhausts that blast your eardrums. The particular staff member we encountered was not rude, per se, but definitely seemed a bit annoyed about something and was curt in his responses. I had an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and my friend had an Americano, which I had no complaints about. Don't expect much in the way of eats. The croissant was good enough and the chocolate cookie was ok, but there were literally one of each left and nothing else (we arrived an hour before closing time). Overall, I would probably not go back because there are much closer places to home with better hours and same, if not better, quality coffee.

Best roaster in town, buy a bag get a free drip coffee when you do! Medium roasts are so dang flavorful.

Mariah recommended a really nice medium roast and we had a great conversation about the expanding area. Will definitely be back

I have been going in periodically to grab books purchased from my fav loval bookseller (Shelves Bookstore) and would always grab a coffee. I love sitting in their cozy shop, cracking open my new book, and sipping my coffee. Soon enough I decided it was my favorite coffee in town, so I signed up for the bi-weekly subscription (Ethopian beans) and have been so pleased. They mail promptly each time and so far have arrived the next day!

A great, artsy space with a community feel. Nice to see a spot like this creating some vitality in a rougher part of town. The coffee itself is fine - but weak. Very milky. A bit stronger would be very good. This place has great potential.

We come here often and the coffee never misses. The atmosphere is great and the baristas are nice. Friendly staff and overall a great cafe.
