I love this little coffee shop. It is a short pleasant walk from my daughters’ place when I am visiting her. Everyone is friendly that early in the morning. The coffee is delicious. I treat myself to a scone or muffin which is also delicious. It is clean and well organized. A very comfortable, inviting place to sit and have my first, and only, cup of coffee.

Really cozy coffee spot for what is turning into a very commercialized SE. Service is great, coffee is greater.

Quaint little place. Lots of people come here to study. Fireplace is perfect for cold days. They have many types of coffee to enjoy including drafted coldbrew and steeped fresh teas. Try their pastries!

My favorite coffee spot in Plaza Midwood. Their oat milk hazelnut latte is the best I’ve had in CLT. Super chill vibe in a walkable neighborhood

Central Coffee Company is a family-owned and operated coffee shop in Charlotte, North Carolina. They first opened their shop in Plaza Midwood in May of 2009. Their main goal is to serve remarkable coffee and fresh food products, creating an inclusive community atmosphere. They believe that community is so important. Their staff and customers have become not just a community but their family and friends.
They serve coffee roasted by Joe Van Gogh Coffee Roasters, located in Hillsborough, North Carolina,
Joe Van Gogh has placed a lot of emphasis on social, economic, and environmentally responsible ways of producing their roasted coffees. The owners have been to Nicaragua with the company to develop their knowledge of the coffee industry and to learn where the beans come from and to appreciate the process from seed to plant to flower to tree to roasted coffee.

Excellent donuts and great coffee. I’d recommend.

Lots of coffee shops in this area feel more like bars than Cafés, especially on weekends. This one is almost always much cooler and laid back, and a great place to work or study (and a lot more reasonably priced). Perfect place to upgrade from Starbucks without ruining your wallet, and getting a similar atmosphere.

Coffee tasted fine, but the only thing we came is for the visual satisfaction, "The Latte Art".
We asked for heart and we got an onion :)
May be I don't know how to enjoy..!

Had a blast at the location, the owners were there and we’re very accommodating. I also enjoyed getting to know a little bit about the family history of that coffee place. Highly recommend
