Such amazing coffee.
The latte with a shot of their caramel is a winner. Don't waste your time going to Starbucks if you are near a Joe.
If you can find a bag of their Papua New Guinea organic coffee, it is amazing.

Love this cafe! Some of the best espresso in town. I appreciate its proximity right off I-40. Yummy, velvety lattes and quick service!

Stopped in to get a Mocha Latte with Almond milk. Was the worst coffee I ever tasted and that was all I could do because it was awful. Was very disappointed. Wouldn't even give it 1 star.

Good tasting coffee, great system for COVID safety (order ahead or walk up to window and then drinks are brought around to the side table when ready). Great seasonal options like rose cardamom lattes or honey almond cappuccinos. Biggest critic is that it is a bit pricey ($4-5 for specialty drink) and the service is not super fast. Also, keep in mind that the parking lot is small and difficult to navigate out of.

Great coffee! Great espresso drink! And local. Couldn’t ask for more! IMO the best tasting coffee in the area (I only keep JVG coffee at home). I’ve studied here a few times, and it’s a fantastic place to work away during the day and keeping the delicious coffee flowing. Highly recommended - for both work and pleasure

Over priced coffee, pastries are good and staff is somewhat friendly.

They ask you how much you want to tip & last time I said a 1.00. Off of an 8.00 transaction. My bank account said I was charged 10.75$. Been here twice too many times. I don’t like the vibe. Giving wilderness, liberal wanna be’s. You won’t be profiting of off or scamming me! Watch them people.

This locally owned coffee shop is a gem in the area. Coffee and tea drinks are delicious, service is always friendly, and there's ample seating so you never feel rushed while catching up with a friend or getting work done. Only reason I put 4 rather than 5 stars is that I'm not impressed by the baked goods they offer :/ they have some gluten free options for those folks, but in the overall selection, there isn't anything that gets me drooling. Still, for a solid cup of coffee in a nice space, Joe Van Gogh is a safe bet :)

Delicious coffee omg. Had a vanilla latte with oat milk. Very normal drink. It was the best one I ever had. It was so good. Will be back for sure

I was very disappointed my first visit here before the movie which is conveniently located right next door. I love JVG coffee beans and choose them for my home coffee. That said, the customer service was sorely lacking at this particular cafe. The 2 staff people were snotty and had 'attitudes', and the woman was just plain rude. I am a senior citizen who drove an hour to come to the show and thought I would enjoy a coffee drink before it started. The cappuccino was also somehow not very warm. I live in a rural area, and maybe I just am not used to Chapel Hill snootiness, but it was insulting. I will go back and try again.
