Bucks Coffee Cafe of Cashiers

This is where me and my best girlfriends get together for coffee!! My fave soup ever!! Roasted Bell Pepper and Smoked Gouda Soup!! I've never had a soup or sandwich u haven't loved!

Bucks is so cute with great drinks and entertainment! We loved playing “guess the price” of all the art/decor/jewelry and saw others making a game of it, as well! 😂 Very fun, friendly atmosphere and excellent service.

over the top rude. I arrived at a slightly busy time. Sat down at a table to answer an email. I had not been sitting there for more than 7 minutes. I was then asked to come out side. Very confused followed the man outside. He asked if I was planning on buying something since other people were in line. Telling me I need to buy something the tables were filling. I tried to explain I was planning on purchasing a coffee and a sandwich. The man told me 'he had heard that before, you need to leave if you are not going to buy anything'. As I am telling him I just needed to answer an email. I'm very understanding but this was just rude. the best part was walking out seeing 3 tables with 4 chairs at each table. the tables were clean and ready to be sat at...... Handle things better there guy. honestly more upset I wasn't able to get my coffee and sandwich. like hello buddy why would I just go there for wifi. Its 2019 I HAVE A HOME WITH INTERNET ACCESS.

The only complaint about Bucks I have with this shop are first that the barista didn't know what coffee I asked for when I asked by region despite it being written on the air pot lable a d second the Ethiopia Yirgachefe had no flavor profile. It was one of the least enjoyable Yigachefe coffees I've had. Either the roast profile was way off or the Brew method is poorly done but for someone who understands coffee profiles, And what Ethiopian yoga chef coffee is supposed to taste like this was not it. However, if you're looking for just a cup of coffee that you can put syrups, cream sugar, or other additives highly recommend this place. If you are in individual who really likes and enjoys good quality single origin coffees this is not the spot for you.
That's the only reason for the 3 stars.

Good place and location but the owner Steve...Is a real prick. Steve had no business manners and the place has a poor standard of health code. The guy banks on the average passerby and doesn’t respect local people. Coffee is mediocre and if you pay with a card the system is always down so bring cash because that’s the only thing Steve wants. Disappointed that a knockoff Starbucks in Cashiers can be so pretentious.

Bucks is a local institution that’s open 365 days per year. Light bites and coffee are very good. Steve sometimes builds a fire on cold winter mornings. Great local staff is friendly to tourists and locals alike.

The coffee isn't bad, but it's just as good at Sphinx. Keep your thick skin on too; the staff need to lighten up and show a little friendliness!

Unique little coffee shop. Only a 4 star for they wasn't serving any frozen coffee at the time and seemed like it was more of the employees choice not to serve it instead of not being able to. Great little place other than that.

Slow is an understatement. Cashier is a space cadet. We had to repeat order four times. Only redemption is when the drinks did eventually show the quality was nice but somehow still screwed up the order.
