A great cafe in the heart of Carthage, NC. Delicious coffee & sandwiches. Baked goods always tend to be over baked (more brown than golden) so I would avoid those, but everything is is yummy!

My wife and I come here almost every Saturday for morning coffee dates. Our daughter LOVES playing in the kids corner. We love it here. Staff are awesome. Darryl (the owner) and his wife are amazing people! Really friendly and will talk with you. They have the best pastries and macarons in Moore County and crazy awesome breakfast burritos.

An adorable shop hidden off of the main thoroughfare in Carthage. Coffee roasted in house, well pulled espresso, and an exceptional value. Staff was warm and welcoming, and the range of products was impressive. They have established their own feel, as opposed to so many other cafes that attempt to fit into some cookie cutter motif. Will definitely be back anytime. In the area, and would recommend the same to anyone else looking for well made coffee and a welcoming environment.

This place genuinely loves coffee and the time they have spent developing their craft clearly shows in the quality of their beverages. The food (sandwiches, pastries) is handmade fresh and is also delicious.
HOWEVER this shop financially supports a local organization actively working to take away women’s rights, so just know that if you purchase from here, that is what your money is supporting. (This information is all over their instagram if you want to confirm for yourself.)

Don’t get me wrong I like this place, but they can definitely work on their customer service. I walked in and the two girls were just staring at me, I wasn’t welcomed or greeted. So, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I proceeded to greet them- nothing. I asked if they were still serving food, cause I knew they were closing in 30 min. They just looked at me and said no with a blank stare. So I asked what the other customer had cause it looked good and one of the girls so monotone said “lavender lemonade” and I was like ok I’ll just have that. This girl didn’t even hand it to me- she just sat it there on the counter so I had to reach over to get it. Buggy Town please tell your workers to work on there customer service. I felt so uncomfortable and It’s sad because I really do enjoy coming here for the drinks and food.

Beautiful little coffee shop. It must be in your list of small town places you must stop to help the local economy. It's better than Starbucks! 😉

I had really high hopes! Ive been following this spot on social media for awhile now and it looks fantastic. I was in the area so decided to stop in. The place wasn't very busy, maybe 5 other patrons sitting and another patron behind us for ordering. I ordered an iced vanilla maple latte with oat milk as a suggestion from the person that took our order and my guest ordered an apple cider. Both items were from the new fall menu. I received my latte and it was called out as an "vanilla maple latte". I sat down and tasted the very sweet latte and noticed it was dairy milk. I took the drink back ups and asked if it was oat milk and she said no and offered to remake it. Meanwhile, my guests apple cider had still not come out. The person that was in line behind us was still at the counter waiting to order, the people behind the counter had all but disappeared. The Barista proceeded to take her order and make her drink while my guest and I just sit there trying to figure out what was going on. When I asked about it, the barista said that the other person that took our order did not write it down. I got my remade oat milk latte and it was very sweet and ended up in the trash after a couple of sips. My guest finally got her apple cider and Im not really sure what it was. She said it tasted like water and it definitely looked like water. I noticed that the barista put a pump of something in it and then filled with hot water. Her drink also ended up in the trash. This trip was very disappointing. The barista was very apologetic about the mistake of my drink and the miscommunication in ordering.
