Great independently owned business. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff, and the coffee is great too! All brews are roasted on site and fresh when you order them. Room to sit and enjoy the lovely downtown Brugaw atmosphere as well as a quick stop if you're on the go!

Wonderful coffee shop. The baristas here are some of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with. The atmosphere is just so warm and fuzzy, this would be a perfect place to sit and have a good cup of coffee when it's chilly outside. They also have delicious baked goods as well, including bagels, muffins and even gluten-free options. This is a hidden gem in Burgaw, definitely stop by if you're in town!

We are on a road trip from the outer banks and stumbled onto this coffee shop. Very dog friendly! Great muffins/bagels. Coffee is good and atmosphere of place is relaxing! Wish I could stay longer!

I first purchased Brown Dog Guatemalan coffee beans at the Tidal Creek Co-op in Wilmington. It quickly became my favorite coffee. Tidal Creek stopped carrying Brown Dog Coffee despite repeated requests to get more. My only recourse was to deal directly with the business in Burgaw. The owners, Barry and Donna, have been great to deal with. Barry roasts his own beans which results in a great product. They ship orders promptly when requested. We’ve visited their shop a couple times. It’s a neat place. Their offerings and service have been excellent when we’ve been there.

The vanilla frappe I had was amazing. It was really really good. My boyfriend got a strawberry smoothie. Man, that smoothie was one of the best smoothies, I've ever gotten. The atmosphere was great. It was super relaxed. The women, whose name I didn't get, was so so sweet.

Excellent coffee, great atmosphere, and the nicest people you could hope to meet. Coffee beans are roasted in house. Espresso and non-coffee drinks are expertly crafted. A variety of baked items are also offered, hand picked and locally sourced by the owners. Great for a quick pick-me-up or to treat yo-self.

The owners are superiorly friendly and will tell you all about the nuances of their in house coffee roasting. Nitrous coffee is now my addiction.

Been to this place for sometime now. The coffee is awesome! I ordered a smoothie today. The strawberry smoothie is pure suger. Not recommended for anyone. I literally saw her poor 10 ounces of strawberry flavored Jell-O with a few fresh strawberries into a blender with a ton of ice. I do not think this constitutes a smoothie. More like an ICEE at 7-Eleven.
