Quotations Coffee Cafe

Visted here on a trip to Pisgah National Forest. Came here twice during our stay and was pleasantly delighted at this little cafe. I enjoyed the Counter Culture coffee that they brew with and just found the atmosphere to be pleasant. It can be busy, we noticed, but if you just want to sit and read a book, they will get everything out to you quickly.

This place is great! There's plenty of vegan options, the food tastes great, and at an excellent price. I really think they placed the seating well. There are a few cozy spots with reading chairs that make you feel private yet offer a great view of the hustle and bustle of the customers. If you're a writer, it's fabulous for people watching and relaxing. There's even a beautiful community room in the back which would be perfect for book clubs.

Came here every morning of my mini vacation and wouldn't have had it any other way. The staff seems a little worn out from the business, but are still plenty pleasant! The food is amazing with tons of options from breakfast-brunch-lunch. The drinks all hit the spot, each one I had was perfect! Definitely would strongly recommend. Even busy the service is fast and they bring your food to the table.

Please bus your own dishes though! They already do so much and it isn't fair to them when people leave their dishes and trash all oflver on of their tables!

Prices are fair and it’s a nice shop. However, both orders were wrong and we had to wait even longer. Friend’s coffee was forgotten, sandwich toppings were wrong, used the wrong milk, and so on. Food tasted ok, it wasn’t as good as I had hoped. Not a great experience but it was worth a try.

Staff was very friendly, bagels were fresh and the atmosphere was nice. Nice small area out on the sidewalk is available for dogs. I only downgraded it from five stars because the oatmeal was instant or quick cook. My suggestion to them is to use a timed Crock-Pot the night before and use steel cut oats to be ready the next morning. This would be a much higher quality oatmeal.

Nice setting but it took 45 minutes for two espresso drinks that weren’t very strong. Employees were coming and going to and from the back room but only one enployee making drinks. I would have liked to have known about the wait before ordering.

Loved the cashier! So friendly!Best multigrain bagel I have ever had. I ordered Lox & bagel...yum! The place is adorable and pretty close to the waterfall hikes. There is an incredible gift shop across from it. AND tge coffee was so good.

More than the sum of its parts. Great energy. Lots of sun. Clearly driven by regulars.
