This place is adorable!!! Coffee, chocolate, wine? What more could you ask for! They make their chocolate in house. They also have scones and other treats! Everything was great!! The place was clean and spacious. Loved all the decorations. Super friendly staff! My new favorite place! Wish I still lived in Boone but definitely will be a spot I will go to every time I visit Boone and will be recommending it to everyone!

Perfect to visit alone on a Friday after a long week of hard work. Amazing food, atmosphere, and wine selection. The owner Josiah came to my table several times each time I’ve visited to check on me and my friends to make sure everything was satisfactory, and was able to recommend great food and wine pairs. I see people complaining about the price, but the quality makes it worth it. This is the perfect place to enjoy quality time with friends, or treat yourself. Would give 10 stars if I could!

Stumbled across Venture while walking on king street and cannot recommend enough. They were so nice and had amazing chocolate, wine, whiskey, and food. The inside is so cute with wine on display and multiple seating options. Will definitely be back! (:

Very friendly. I had the dark chocolate cube and the peanut butter chocolate cube and they were delicious. The decor was nice and new with plenty of seating. Downstairs they make the chocolate and have the wine bar. The wine bar was not open at the time of this post but I am sure they will have an excellent wine selection.

My husband and I stopped in for an impromptu date here and could not have been happier! The service was attentive and knowledgeable, the wine selection wonderful and the chocolate INCREDIBLE! They roast their cocoa beans in house so you get a true bean to bar experience. The chocolate is so smooth and the flavors unique and delicious. Came back another day and enjoyed an amazing Americano. The atmosphere is super clean and high end but cozy and the best location right in downtown Boone! This is a business worth supporting!

Boone's own chocolatier and wine bar. What everyone else said. Awesome chocolate made on site. Comfy and very cool, can't recommend enough. Right next to Horton Hotel on King. Swing by for their sipping chocolate...oh my!

Shown is [Burrata, served with tomatoes and bread: $14 and Salumi Board, with 3 meats, mustard and jam: $12]. Very tasty chocolates, coffee, munchies and wine at reasonable prices to portion compared to other food markets. Cozy, classy, atmosphere that caters to the non-college crowd, while still offering that casual welcoming Boone feel. I was also pleased to learn from the very knowledgeable staff, that it's owned by the same owners of Local Lion so I could eat my chocolates in peace knowing it's authentic to the town despite it feeling like we transported to a different city.

Stopped by while visiting Boone and had a wonderful cappuccino + chocolates! Great atmosphere and aesthetically pleasing space to enjoy an afternoon pick me up.

Incredible and very underrated. Stumbled upon this place while walking down the street in Boone. The chocolates, creme brûlée, and sipping chocolate were phenomenal. Very cool environment that is as great as the food. I will definitely be back.

A wonderful wine bar and chocolate shop. My friend invited me here for his birthday and I was impressed. The place has a comfortable atmosphere. It is upscale but not snooty. The charcuterie board was loaded with pairings for the wine that delighted my tongue. I've never had such good olives. There were also several cheeses, flatbreads, berries, grapes, meats, nuts, honeycomb, mustard, jam, chocolate, and other things I've probably forgotten. It was impressive. The house bubbly I got was the first time I've ever enjoyed wine. It wasn't too sweet and paired excellently with the board. It is a little pricey, but certainly not outrageously so, especially considering the area and you got a lot for what you paid for. The owners were nice and knowledgeable about their wines. I will definitely return.
