My new favorite place in Boone to get milkshakes and coffee products! Has such a comfortable and inviting atmosphere and the white chocolate iced coffee I got today has made me a better person! I very conveniently work next door at Good Vibz Tattoos so this is a wonderful find :)

So happy this place exists!! I keep coming back to get the Hurricane tea. It is pure bliss! My mouth has never been so happy haha & the clean energy I get from it is amazing! You will seriously not regret getting something from them! The staff are also super sweet and kind, and the aesthetic of the place is gorgeous! Thank you girls for being so awesome! :)

They have a good variety of products - Coffees, Teas and Smoothies.

Each member of my family ordered something from each category - I got Coffee (excellent), my wife ordered Hot Tea (excellent) and both of my children ordered smoothies (also excellent)

The Owners are a couple of AppState students who are paying their way through School. They are hardworking young women who truly appreciate your business.

It will be a regular stop on every trip we make to Boone!!!

Buying from this nutrition drink shop reminded me why doing your research (beforehand) on businesses you want to spend money at is important! All I knew going into the store was that they had a cool looking blue tea drink I wanted to try. While I was there, I checked out their menu and saw some nice looking smoothies/shakes, too. After getting back to my apartment and getting the receipt sent to me through text, I saw that I just made an Herbalife purchase. I didn’t know anything about Herbalife, but after some research I learned about their predatory practices as a “multi-level marketing” business (pyramid scheme). They also have been sent to court by multiple federal agencies for having weird ingredients in their drink and food packs. They are not a trustworthy business!

I also learned that Blue Ridge Nutrition is owned by two students at App. While I don’t necessarily blame them for buying into whatever Herbalife is selling (the whole point of pyramid schemes is to sell their junk by recruiting literally every person they can), I don’t think it’s cool to market your stuff without being super clear what you’re actually selling. Blue Ridge Nutrition does not have a website. They do have an Instagram, but after I looked all over to see any mention of Herbalife, I didn’t find any. There is a link in their bio to an article that App’s school newspaper made. In the article they do mention that their drinks are actually products of Herbalife. That was the only place I saw any mention of this place being a front for Herbalife until I saw the one negative review on Google stating “This is Herbalife!”. Basically, I believe the two owners or whoever runs their social media should put that information up front where everyone can read it so consumers can make an informed decision on where they spend their money. I don’t believe I will return, and I hope future purchasers are more informed than I when getting something from here.

Service is always top notch, and the drinks are fabulous! I try to get something new every time and have not found something I haven't loved. Go support a great student run business!!

I come here at least once a week and try something new every time. Never dissapointed !!
