PennyCup Coffee Haw Creek

I love the Lucha Lubre mural. Plus the staff and coffee are great too. They are taking COVID-19 precautions very seriously which is great for my situation and family and means we are still able to get a nice local espresso drink when the urge strikes us.

What a beautiful place to sit and enjoy a tasty cup of coffee with a yummy breakfast item like a muffin or an oatmeal bar! The artwork on the walls features local artists, too!

I'm the the FedEx guy who delivers here and I LOVE when I have them on my route. Such friendly staff. They gave me a taste of their fresh baked banana bread and it is AMAZING! Certainly gives my momma's a run for it's money.

Excellent service and delicious coffee and tea! The food is also very yummy and the proces are extremely hair. I was on the east side for an appointment and dropped in for a beverage and a bite with my husband, and we both enjoyed it so so much!

Wonderful neighborhood coffee shop! They have my favorite coffee beans in all of AVL! Grab some whole bean Ethiopia Guji, you will not be disappointed!

I had to.meet my cheating ex husband and in-laws here and let me tell you, the coffee and blueberry muffin was so good I would say the coffee date was somewhat enjoyable.

Strike one: Wierd trippy art decor? Am I getting my drink spiked with shrooms? (Well maybe the taste is similar to wet dirt in the mouth like the first time trying shrooms... ).
Strike two: overpriced and not honoring their titled company business name.
The name "PennyCup" translates to "ennycuppay" in pig latin which means pay a cup a day for the price of a days wage, more or less 😬

Great coffee and great service! You can bring your own mug and get a small discount. Lots of sitting space. Parking is always taken up but there's a little lot right next door

Had a good Americano and a cookie. Friendly quick service. A pleasant place.
