I was able to stop by Mother today for a loaf of sourdough bread and it is without a doubt the best piece of bread I’ve had. I will be back for sure! Thank you!

Be sure to get twice as much focaccia as you think you need because it is AMAZING and it gets eaten up so fast!!

Everyone is mentioning the focaccia because it literally doesn’t miss. It’s so good. And the simple sandwiches that they bring in with the ham and the culture butter on that fabulous chewy baguette? Disrespectfully tasty. I work in the area and I have to stop myself from spending all my money here.

The tomato focaccia was a total impulse purchase and we didn't regret it. The whole thing was devoured for lunch - no need for butter or toppings. The guy behind the counter was a little insincere but otherwise we would definitely come back for more.

Best bakery in town.

Real sourdough from locally sourced flour without the terrible seed oils and artificial fortification. Most people that think they can’t eat gluten are actually just having bad reactions to the seed oils and metallic iron, possibly even mold in stale flour.

Not at Mother! I’ve recommended them to several people who thought they were gluten intolerant and they had no issues eating here.

We are from Brooklyn and thankfully their bagels have left us wondering if there really isn’t anything special about a NYC bagel after all. The fromage blanc is a sophisticated upgrade to cream cheese.

They also do a great pour over so they’ve got your morning caffeine fix.

Our kids love the pretzels and the chocolate babka too. And if you’re there at lunch time the jamon buerre sandwiches are addictive.

They also have a great selection of wines and one day we will get in to try the afternoon focaccia and wine tasting!

On my first visit I bought a focaccia, a few bagels, and a pretzel. I (naively) thought I'd just have a bite of the pretzel before going on with my day, when in reality I sat there devouring every last bit before I could do anything else. It was just that good! The bagels are amazing, so fresh and bubbly. You can take things to go, or walk down to the river and enjoy your carbs by the water.

Loved their Jambon beurre baguette sandwich. The ham was delicious and authentic to the Parisian style. The baguette was fresh, crispy, and flavorful. We enjoyed the sandwich with a glass of rosé suggested by Brett.
We also bought a few bagels, a pretzel, and a loaf of bread to take home.
Brett was friendly and knowledgeable. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

Great baguettes and jambon sandwiches. Not a fan of the focaccia - the toppings are always burnt. The focaccia with kale topping was especially strange. Burnt pieces of kale that didn’t adhere to the bread and just fell off?

First visit today but not my last. Bought a day old loaf of brioche for French Toast and two Jamison Beurre sandwiches. While I waited outside, the super nice owner made me a toasted bagel with queso blanco and cornichons. Fantastic! Keep up the great work guys, we’re so glad you’re here.

Delicious, artisan bread! I picked up a beautiful babka, a rye loaf and focaccia loaf and all were fresh, flavorful and incredibly tasty! The focaccia was my favorite that I have ever had, even in high end restaurants. I am so excited that they are opening their own shop, so I can pick up their amazing bread more often!
