As the cashier and workers were very nice and helpful, I sat down to read my book and went to leave when I was done I was approached by the manager at my car who accused me of not paying I showed him my receipt and he was very unprofessional and rude. As I will come again I think its ridiculous that they will go to your car as the cashier told him that I paid.

Nice attentive staff, helped me find a book I'd been looking for right away, good selection, the manga is often missing pieces but overall good experiences there.

A well-known entertainment supplier, offering a diverse assortment of books, magazines and audio-visual merchandise. B&N (Vestal) also includes gaming merchandise, comic collectibles, a children's department, and a dine in cafe.
Granted, their prices are a bit high, but they're a reputable and trustworthy business.

B&N is ok for books. Understandably that's it's primary function. However, I go there for collectables and unusual toys. Particularly Kotobikuya , SH. Monsterarts, Star Wars Armada, Gundam and Bandai from Japan which they used to have a good selection of. But have absolutely let fall into a state of barely perceptible decay. Both in the presentation of display and in stock. All they seem to care about are the grotesquely overrated collectables like Funko-Pop. I'm continually disappointed more and more every time I go there.

This place will no longer get any more of my business, apparently they keep our credit cards on file to renew without our knowledge and then catch a bed attitude when we ask for our money back. If I did this I would be in jail but they can steal and police call it Civil.

I love their sale area. Great authors 2 for $10. King and Koontz. The book I wanted was the first one I saw coming in the door. Moby Dick with a gorgeous cover. Displays are beautiful. Some people waiting to be helped because of worker's thoroughness.
And that's why I don't go much. I'd spend too much.

As far as Barnes and nobles go it's pretty standard. I am personally not too fond of the rearrange they did as I forget where the dead ends are sometimes but that won't stop me coming in.

This place is good for reading, having quiet chitchats, daydreaming...
It's a nice quiet place to read and browse books. The Starbucks in there is only a cafe not a real Starbucks, though their drinks quality is as good but the sandwiches are different.

They didn't have the books I was looking for but they did have some similar. They have a good variety of Microsoft for dummies books. As an added bonus, I purchase gave me two free coffee's and a free Danish at Starbucks.

As far as I'm concerned Barnes & Noble is the best place on Earth. I could live there.
Seriously though great staff friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection even though the market dictates shrinking book and CD shelves. Go to the bookstore so they don't all disappear!!
