An absolute Must Visit! The food is consistently flawless as is the incredible coffee. The patrons that frequent the establishment are as diverse and interesting as the menu (which ranges from meaty sandwiches to vegetarian and vegan options) ((ask about the hidden menu)). The atmosphere is very unique and quite inviting. I've never seen a customer or employee who is like me in any way, shape or form, and yet I've never felt uncomfortable or unwanted. The staff are extremely friendly and superb at their jobs. They always seem to have a minute to stop and have friendly conversation, not just asking how the food is, no matter how busy they are. The Tram also has open mic nights as well as karaokee.

The music got a bit loud at one point, but when I asked if they could turn in down a little they were accommodating. I went for open mic poetry night Thursday night. It was so nice to feel like I belonged in the room. I have a terrible fear of speaking in public but everyone was so nice I felt comfortable enough to get up and read. I'm really glad that I did. I highly recommend the Tram not just for poetry night but for a nice unique space to sit with a good book and getting a coffee, tea or one of the other many wonderful options to eat or drink.

Good place for live music, but I removed a star as their cover charge policy of a drink per person was very angrily and noxiously told to a friend of mine. It has soured his experience of ever really going there again for him. Food is good, and they have dairy free milks. I'll just chock the bad experience up to a tired cashier.

Good food, very clean, and fast service. Great for lunch or breakfast. Really nice people working behind the counter.very helpful. They have nice desserts too. Staff was okay nothing unusual or specially terrific but mediocre. Had fun with friends and would definitely come back.

I love this place. Coffee is always yummy. The cups are fun that they use. My mother and I have come here for lunch several occasions and the staff is so nice! Great food and fun eclectic atmosphere. :)

Great atmosphere, awesome coffee and goodies! Staff and service is friendly and accommodating regardless of how busy they are. Wonderful events from live music, poetry and open mic nights, as well as drag shows. Something for everyone!!

I feel bad for giving it 3 stars, because I do kinda like the place. It is a small coffee shop with vegan/vegetarian food options and the food has mildly good. But, something about the atmosphere really drops this place from a 4 star to a 3. The people that frequent there haven't been the most friendly either. But the staff is great! You get a lot of strange stares from some very questionable people, too. I'd feel very uncomfortable bringing kids there personally.
The few times I've been there, I've always ordered food and a drink, and that alone is a 4 star. Too bad they only serve veggy chips (the kind you get at Walmart) as a side with your sandwich. Some sorta pasta salad or something would be better.
Lots of stuff going on here during the week like open-mic, poetry readings, etc.
So if you're bored and think you can handle some weird and strange people, give it chance. Maybe this is your kind of thing. But not necessarily mine.

Love this place! The best cafe around!!
The have great foodstuff with soups, salads, sandwiches, and a random assortment of baked goods! As for drinks, they have an ample tea selection, hot coffee-based drinks, sodas in the fridge, and chilled drinks (Iced coffee, iced tea, etc) as well.
Come in on Sunday evening for a great time at the region's most celebrated Open Mic night! Or come to the "spoken word night" to try your comedy routine or read a poem!
Don't forget that there's a "sunroom" on the second floor if you want to have a group meeting or just to get away from the commotion on the first floor.
Drop in grab a coffee... and I hope to see you there! :-D

Excellent vibe. Very comfortable place to enjoy coffee, pastries and hang out. Sunday open mics are great. They closed down for winter I believe but I'm looking forward to the re-opening.

This cafe is my favorite place in Upstate New York. The coffee is outmatched only by the lovely staff, and the open mics they have on a weekly basis are the highlight to my Thursdays and Sundays. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, it's awesome!
