This place was awesome. Really great service and really cute outdoor seating with swings. :) The English muffins, made in house, were delish. 👌🏼Highly recommend it.

Dana and Chris run a great shop. Top-shelf coffee from Brewtus Roasting, one of the best small-batch craft Roaster's in the area. They pull excellent shots with this excellent coffee with their Rapallo Astoria espresso machine. Dana clearly knows what she is doing. She makes a mean Cortado, give it a try.
Non-coffee drinks are outstanding as well. Check out their London Fog and selection of teas.
Food is excellent as well. They are very focused on fresh ingredients, locally produced, with an eye toward health. The breakfast sandwich on an in-house made English muffin is outstanding!
Speaking of in-house made, Dana bakes all of the baked goods, biscotti, scones, cinnamon buns, etc. All well done.
We have become regulars here. Check out Common Crumb when you can.

I pulled off the road wanting a cup of craft coffee, a break from driving, and a mid-day snack. The café was extremely clean and the employee was polite, helpful, and quick. The outside area that I ate at was also clean and very shady.
I ordered a maple latte and a slice of homemade coffee cake.
Everything was absolutely delicious! The latte was not too sweet and the maple flavor was quite evident. The coffee cake was the absolute best I ever had! Moist, sweet, crumb topping with nuts.
I wish I lived near here, as I would be visiting on a regular basis.

Its a very cute little place to sit and eat. The vegan sandwich is very good, although I prefer to eat the sandwich without the bagel, its just what I like the most. The bagel is very very filling. I love the chocolate biscotti and the chocolate vegan brownies. The coffee is smooth and not bitter. I really like there outside seating area too. I just wish they were open every week day.

Common Crumb is the SOLE reason we don’t bring our espresso machine with us when we visit family in Troy. Chris and Dana run a quality spot, serving up satisfyingly complex espresso, a breakfast sandwich you dream of, and solid baked goods (English muffins with seasonal jams are our go to). Not only that, there’s history in their location as it’s a converted schoolhouse that used to house the owner’s father’s law office. Love the story behind this small business along with the fantastic work they’re doing. Keep it up and we’ll always be back whenever we’re up that way! Looking forward to seeing you both again!

One of my favorite spots in the area, great food, and more importantly, great people behind the counter. I never regret coming here, I only regret not going enough!

The first word that comes to mind is “magical.” Just off the road in a converted 1800s schoolhouse is the most wonderful coffee spot I’ve ever encountered. Welcoming, cozy, fresh baked goods in the case- what more could you ask for? The owner was friendly and efficient, and the zucchini muffins and coffee cake were spectacular. With amazing music playing and plenty of seating, the only risk is you won’t want to leave!

Real food- real coffee/lattes. Exactly what you hope for when finding a roadside gem. Farm to table type spot, but not expensive. 10/10 would come again.

Friendly staff, good food, delicious hand made muffins. Definitely worth the visit. Don’t miss the house muesli to make yourself at home.
