So i was waiting for my car to be done with oul change at nissan service and i wanted somewhere to go t other than their waiting room so i did a quick google maps search and gound this place so close by. I thiught to myself “a cool coffe shop right here? No way, too good to be true. “ but it’s not folks. This does exist. In the middle of now where. Give it a try if you happen to be rumbling through the industrial area of sylsset. Peace

Excellent pour over coffee. Mongo's has a lot of coffee bean options and roast there own coffee. The Coffee grounds are available for sale. The food menu is good. The sandwiches and pastries are fresh. Simple avacado toast is delicious. Baristas are good at preparing coffee exactly to your liking. The space is good sized with a lot of options to work (workstation table with outlets), study (barstools around high table) or chat (sofas around coffee table). Place is busy but tables become available with a little wait.

This is one of the best coffee lounges I’ve ever been to. I come here every weekend and drive 30 minutes just to come over here, that’s how good it is. The coffee is always on point. The sandwiches and pastries are also always on point. Super delicious and an enjoyable place to relax and indulge. :). If you want to stop somewhere for a really good coffee (or tea), take the extra time to come over here because it’s worth it.

I have been going to Mongo's since they opened. Their coffees, bakes goods and sandwiches are top notch. Mitch and the entire staff are a great team and do an outstanding job. Bring home the whole beans and make yourself some great pour over coffees. All of the varieties are always fresh and roasted perfectly!

2nd time here. It'll be a go-to for me when I'm on long Island. Outstanding joint! Proper coffee spot! The people, coffee, vibes and decor are all on point. The baristas know what's up. If you care at all about coffee then you should check Mongos out. I pull my own espresso at home w a proper grinder + e61 machine. Rarely am I happy w local coffee shops. Mongos is a rare exception.

Can’t wait to come back here! I’m upset I didn’t know about it sooner or I would have come here ALL the time as a student! The ambiance here is awesome- it’s chill, kinda looks like a brewery (cuz it is but for coffee!), lots of grey tones, has tables and chairs for work stations but also couches for more relaxed hanging out vibes also. Looking around, I saw students studying independently, studying in groups together, I saw an interview going on, a first date, people working their jobs, people hanging solo, or friendship dates like the one I was on. Staff was nice and my friend got a hot oat milk latte in a beautiful orange mug and I got an iced vanilla oat milk latte! We also got a scone and the avocado toast which was delicious! Can’t wait to come back with my boyfriend! I heard they have live music too so can’t wait for that!!

This is a super huge coffee shop with comfortable seating. We seated ourselves in a nice cozy corner. We got the avocado toast, blueberry muffin and yogurt parfait. For drinks, we had the cappuccino and berry hibiscus iced tea. Everything was really good.

Great food, great vibes.

Favorite coffee shop for sure. They roast all of their beans on site and have a bunch of verities to choose from.
I like that you can buy the different varieties in smaller portions, that way if you don’t like one you aren’t stuck with it for along time.
They also have a lot of non-dairy options which is always a plus!

Have been coming here ever since they opened - the owner is often here making sure everything is running well. Best coffee shop in town for sure. Great coffee, pastries, customer service, and vibe!

Coffee Connoisseur Heaven. Family owned, the owner has decades of roasting experience. Huge space, atmosphere perfect for Co-Working, Meetings, or just hanging. Awesome experience. They know their coffee. Enjoy!
