Great little coffee shop, woman at the counter was friendly, efficient, and my drink was great. Wrap was very good for a breakfast wrap as they are normally plain. Highly recommend everyone spend local and support this hidden gem.

First, I want to say that the coffee/beverages and food at Union St Coffee House are fantastic! I was happily surprised to even see a couple of vegan options on the menu, including a warm peanut butter and banana wrap -- perfect fuel for our kayak adventure to follow! I wish I could have given this a higher rating because, as a local establishment and a place for delightful yummies, I think their rating should be higher...except their insufficient staffing and meh customer service started our whole visit out with a bad taste in our mouth that even great iced coffee couldn't quite wash away. There were three employees behind the counter: one on register and two on everything else (including delivering food to tables). We were there at 10am Sunday morning, which we all know is hot time for cafe business. There was a solid flow of customers, but not unmanageable by normal standards. The rush mostly came behind us as we were waiting. The service was....so....slow....and discombobulated. The woman taking our order seemed frazzled and confused (admittedly) and asked us to repeat things more than once, which is fine but....then our ticket was lost so, upon noticing customers walking out with their drinks/food who had ordered well after we had, we had to remind them that we had food and coffee still coming (as well as a reminder of what exactly we had ordered). All told, it took us 20 minutes to receive two orders of iced coffee and banana/pb wraps. As I said, the food, beverages, even the atmosphere -- aside from the tangible stress of the poor folks working -- was fabulous. We love the cute outside eating area that is reminiscent of Europe and will, of course, go again - but hoping the management will consider rush times when staffing and ensure that that there are enough properly trained people working to make things happy for everyone!

This is a very welcoming coffee shop with great coffee and fantastic food! The owner's work there everyday and are genuine with their customer service. The food fresh and all the soups are home made! Their coffee milkshakes are very addicting even in the winter! I stop in at least 3 times a week for a nice break in a busy day!

Amazing cafe located right off the canal. Everything you get here is always fresh from their coffee, to their pastries, and also their food selections! They also serve Gifford's ice cream which is so delicious! I love coming here to support our local businesses, especially when the service is great and the food and drink quality is incomparable to anything else!

Honestly, I hate reviewing it so low since its a local business, however, theres some things that need to be fixed.
- They need an actual commercial espresso machine like a Breville, Delonghi,or LaMarzocco.
- Pumps should be on the syrup flavors. Without pumps the mixture is always off in lattes due to the inconsistencies of pouring. They also run out of flavors constantly.
- They should be mixing the syrups with the espresso or shaking the drinks to get a good blend of flavors.
- The food is pretty decent though. Although, they should have gluten free options.

Great place to grab a bite to eat! Coffee and ice cream are excellent too! My favorite breakfast there is an everything bagel with bacon and chive cream cheese... for lunch, Italian Wedding soup and/or a delicious panini. I also buy my coffee by the pound there, they special order the decaf flavors i want.
The owners and staff are nice and the atmosphere is cozy and friendly. Check it out!

I don't like most coffees, which are too bitter or taste burnt to me, but I do like Ethiopian and Jamaican coffee and Cafe Macchiato. They have good coffee here. And good food. I really like to get an Espresso latte with sugar-free Irish creme flavor. It has great foam on top and a really nice flavor. I also love getting a cup of their French onion soup, which has a rich light broth, lots of onions, and lots of delicious melty cheese on top. The environment is always friendly, relaxed, and a good place to grab a drink and relax at the end of the day or on a lunch break or to get some work done.

The aroma of caramel fills the air and the atmosphere is trendy, clean, classy and chill. The prices are better than most cafes but the coffee is better! I loved the delish options (chose a banana foster today) and the dessert combos. I can't wait to come back with some friends.
