Very nice old style cinema theater

Certain numbered theaters and some seat cushions need TLC, but still a great place for a non-main stream movie ... and awesome Nanaimo bars!

Great Little Cafe with great little snacks to see independent little movies, a little band, or a little entertainment

Always interesting and fun at The Little. Different, educational, quirky and entertaining movies. The Cafe is wonderful and the concessions are affordable and delicious.

The Little is a cultural institution here in Rochester. I hadn't been in years, but being in the city now I've taken the opportunity to see a few movies so far and it's been a wonderful experience. Buying tickets is easy and I really appreciate the vaccination check at the door - makes me feel much more comfortable than going to a chain theater. I also like the lineups I've seen, they've been a good mix of artsier/foreign films and ones that are a bit more mainstream. Employees are super nice, other theatergoers are quiet and respectful, and tickets/concessions are affordable. The only downside is parking fills up fast, so go early. I can't wait to keep seeing movies here!

Love the new lobby and flow of the space now! Great movie experience in a more intimate theatre like the old days, so much better than those crazy movieplexes...

We enjoyed a tasty dinner before the movie ("Coda" was incredible!) and admired the current display of photos and art on the walls of the restaurant. Conventional theaters are so uninspiring in comparison to The Little.

We held our son's graduation party at The Little Theatre 1 and we couldn't be happier. The staff was easy to work with and accommodated our needs, the food was amazing, and the service was top notch. I highly recommend renting this beautifully restored gem of a theater for special gatherings!
