Came here for Easter brunch, all the food that was put out was not good. The selection was very small and half the food was uncooked. The manager was not willing to do anything accommodate us until my husband asked her to discount the bill. She gave us 14.99 back for one of the kids buffet meals after none of us actually ate our food. Will NEVER go back again

A lot of hype in the local social circles so I had to check it out. Very large and. Spacious. Separate area for kids to play in, plenty of board games and even books. Prices seemed average for the area. 2 areas with couches and lots of tables. It's so open that I would guess it would tend to get loud in there if it was busy. The bathrooms were both unisex and very clean. Parking was plenty, but taking a left out on Buffalo Rd was horrendous. You can't really see the entrance from the road as it's a mixed use building.

So I have had take out 2 times at this cafe. The first time the veggie sandwich. Completely tasteless, small, cold and awful, expensive. Decided to give this cute place another try tonight. I got pick two 1/2 sandwich and salad. The salad comes with rubbery meat processed cheese and not even homemade dressing! I could not eat it. The sandwich a dry piece of chicken that was about an inch by an inch followed by another on a dry piece of bread with no avocado or provolone or mayo on the sandwich which was all supposed to be on it and very thin pieces of very sad tomatoes and spinach. Will never return, it was $13.00.

First time here today and very very disappointed. The girl who handed me my drink at the counter responded “okay” with a not so friendly look on her face after I told her I ordered an iced drink. She then stated “well we can remake it but it’ll be a while” in a rude tone. I understood it was busy, but I was very taken back by her rude response, it made me not want to engage with her further, so I took my latte hot and left. The vanilla oat milk latte tasted like old brewed espresso and overly sweet, I threw it away. The majority of the self serve coffee containers were empty. Can’t see myself recommending this cafe or wanting to go back.

We ordered a 20oz. Hot drink. It was not full. Probably 2/3 full, if that. Not the first time this has happened. Service is very slow. Sorry

The staff and environment at Pure Imagination Cafe is spot on. If you are looking for a place to have fun with the whole family, look no further! The play area and delicious food and specialty drinks make it worth the drive no matter what area of Rochester you are coming from.

Several tasty and unique sandwiches and salads. All the homemade soups I tried were yummy too. Plenty of seating. A great alternative to Panera.

Wow. It’s beautiful and theme is delightful—I kept seeing things that made me grin, whimsical names of dishes, menu artwork, thoughtful “touches” like copious games for all ages and books, and the little kid space—oh my, it deserves a chapter! Yes, the exterior sign is uninspired, but that’s the only thing that is. Food is good, we especially liked the coconut latte and the rocky balboa sandwich. I really appreciated kid menu items! Food was priced in line with other similar places—you’ll spend the same at Panera or Jitters. It wasn't particularly fast, but we weren't in a hurry. Since we have a 1- and a 3-year-old, the playspace was the highlight, and the reason for my raving review. There is a mostly-enclosed well-designed and stocked kid space. Like a mini-climbing vines. Seriously. Puzzles, coloring, blocks, trains, play kitchen, diner, market.... I feel so lucky it’s right around the corner. For a long time I’ve fed my coffee shop habit several miles down the road that has a bin of toys for kids and 2 high chairs, but is otherwise standard adult coffee shop. I am just blown away by how wonderful this place is for a family like mine.

Such a gem. Food is very decent, they have a cool variety of breakfast and lunch items to choose from. They have nice themes with the food to make it fun. The kids area is great, for parents that want to see their kids, but also want a break. 🤣 The flight drinks are fun and definitely make the experience whole. It's a Harry Potter-ish/ Knights at the round table meets farm-chic kind of esthetic. The bathrooms are fun too. Just go already!
