Trying to enter into the coffee shop world my friend recommended that I go to this place to find perspective of what great coffee should taste like. Its a nicely nested coffee shop off of park ave that's very inviting as soon as you walk through the door. I was politely asked what I wanted but received with less finesse after I replied with I have no clue. As I said it was my first time at a coffee shop and I had no taste for preference. Asking to be introduced in to what could be good coffee the boy behind the counter was less than enthusiastic about explaining anything. I didn't let it stop me and I pressed on, as I had many questions on brewing methods and techniques for my homebrewing. Mind you or wasnt busy no one else was waiting in lone yet eye rolling and short answers were the sum of the interactions. Even to the point where my friend was asking me if I got the hint of his annoyance. I was curious. Finally the young man admitted that he was relatively new, which could account for many of his frustration, and that my questions could be better answered by someone else (who was not there) I found that experience a little less than pleasant. Coffee could not have been claimed at the best I have tasted. BUT! the company was great and the day was beautiful. And this first visit was by NO means a waste of time. Recommend

This is always my very favorite coffee shop!! The baristas are the best here. They are the only place in town that can actually get a good foam with almond milk.... I also love the mocha kick with a little extra kick!! Yummy!!!

Nice place, definitely a more "upscale" vibe but it is not to the point of being pretentious. Prices are decent for quality. It was pretty crowded when I was there (Wednesday @ 330), so I would be prepared for a decent crowd. Would go again.

The BFF BLT was hands down amazing! The great atmosphere and staff made it even better. I discovered this place two days ago and already went back for my second visit. Glen Edith is a true gem of Park Ave.

Met up with a coworker here late in the afternoon on a Friday to chat. We sat at the bar and the latte I ordered was great. The place is one big room and upon walking in I felt as if I walked into a college common area. The crowd was 80-90% college students on laptops.

Glen Edith is a bit expensive but the coffee is delicious and the space is very zen. It's one of my favorite places in Rochester when I'm looking to splurge on a really good cup of coffee.

My favorite coffee shop in Rochester. The ambiance is always chill. The staff is helpful and friendly and hustles when busy.
This is a great workspace, datespace, chillspace, friendspace that provides delicious eats and drinks without pounding your wallet. ☕

Best coffee shop in Rochester, bar none. The lattes are consistently superb and very reasonably priced. The food is also phenomenal. The entire place has a very laid back vibe.

Excellent locally roasted coffee. Get a pourover for the smoothest cup of coffee you've ever had. And yes, those are Civil War portraits on the walls and reclaimed wood everywhere you look. Trendy never tasted this good.
