Log Cabin Cafe

The Log Cabin Cafe is excellent ! Very sweet and neat inside. Food is so good. Erin our waitress was excellent. If your in the area this is a must to go to for food.

To start off, the food is excellent-- the omelettes were great. However, the service was extremely slow, not very attentive, and a little snippy. Our food took a long while to come out, despite the restaurant not being crowded, especially for a Saturday, but I can get over that if the food is good (which it was). However, the waitress never came back to check on us. Finally after sitting with clean plates for 10 minutes, I flagged her down to get the check. 10 minutes later, still with no check, I went up to the register to ask again, just in case she had forgotten (which happens). Without bothering to turn around to look at me, she told me that she had heard me the first time and that she was busy (there were only 2 other tables in the quiet restaurant). Fine, no problem-- lesson learned, I won't be back and can't recommend. The rating isn't lower because the food actually was good and maybe it was just a bad day for the waitress-- I just personally won't come back.

The food was fresh and had great flavor. The atmosphere is very cozy, warm and relaxing. The waitress was very friendly and and definitely deserved the 25% tip. I really enjoyed the homemade soup

It is a great spot for both breakfast and lunch. I frequent at least 1-2× per week. They recently opened for drinks and dinner on Wednesdays nights which I've enjoyed on several occasions.

Great food, wonderful staff, decent prices & a cozy atmosphere. Looking forward to another visit.

Very disappointed, my husband and I waited 45 minutes for our breakfast. My french toast was luke-warm and the bacon was cool and tasteless. They obviously did not have enough waitstaff serving breakfast on the morning that we were there! We MAY go back after the summer season is over, we have enjoyed it in the past when it was less crowded!

We found this cafe right before going to hike in the Catskills. This cafe was a great find! Very cute place and great food at a great price. They have several options of coffee or the cafe or the deli. Worth the drive through the beautiful mountains.

The food was sublime, one of the best places I've ever been to. Miam! Firendly staff, beautiful interior, great selection, fresh food.... Try the the tropical waffle, best time of my life!

Beautiful restaurant with a friendly and casual atmosphere and helpful service (I'm not the first to say it, and our waitress was kind enough to remind us, but seriously buy a water bottle - their water is very sulfuric). I opted for a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with home fries and it was excellent.
