Wonderful source of not just organic meat (which happens to be local and traceable throughout, follow Butter Meat on social media for tons of great info on this!), it also has an array of great specialty food products from unique salts and sauces, to instant ramen, and more! Great for gifts or adding to your own pantry, and browsing the shelves is almost as fun as buying something from them too! Also a great soft serve and coffee! Worth a visit!

I have been multiple times with my fiancé now. We love going in for a taste of their ice cream. Their puppet size is the perfect way to get a taste without overindulging. It’s such a nice atmosphere and I look forward to shopping here in the future.

What an incredible local gem! Jill is a treasure and this tiny shop is full of delicious stuff. I’m vegetarian and was able to enjoy a great lunch plus some snacks for the road! The concept of the beef they sell for home cooking is really fantastic, the selection is great, and the rotating specials are delicious- I can’t wait to be back!

Love visiting. Shop owner is always pleasant with a smile and is just so dang knowledgeable about beef. Such a unique concept for a small village like Perry. Glad I am not vegan. But if I remember correctly her meat is organic.

As a dietary vegan, who would have thought I'd love a place with "meat" in the name so much? This local shop has a wonderful selection of specialty food products with an emphasis on local along with the best coffee in town. Love the number of vegan-friendly items as well and my dog enjoys the "doggy bags" as a treat. The interior is beautiful and full of natural light and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful!

Love this place!!! Butter Meat Co is changing how we think about meat. If you go into the shop and have the chance to speak with Jill (the owner/founder) you will immediately sense her passion, knowledge, and expertise in this area. I never knew I could learn so much about meat from a seemingly simple visit to a local butcher shop!

The meat is incredible, and don't be shy to ask about different cuts and flavor profiles. Not to mention they serve delicious coffee/tea and sell a bunch of other local goods.
