absolutely my favorite place. delicious cider, beer + wine + food too. love the feel -- great spot to meet up with friends or just pop in and see who's there. highly recommend this neighborhood find!

The local is a small, simple beer/wine and snack spot with good vibes and interesting conversations. Small plates, good drink, and a hip bartender are what make Local a worth-while trek from the East Village.

I was in NYC last week end and went to Local. Food is really delicious! Chef Flavia cooks a very tasty and delcious crossover between italian heatly cousine and american contemporary. It's a great mix. I hope you'll open a cafè in Milano soon, guys!
The location is really nice, intimate and it feels like beeing at home. I love it and would recomend it! cash only

Great food, coffee and people. A true "neighborhood" spot with a colorful bunch of locals. I go for the poukalla in the morning and Fetta/green pepper pressed sandwich in the afternoon. The outdoor street-deck is great in the Spring, Summer and Fall.

This is a gem. Grab a seat at the bar (if you can) and strike up a conversation with the locals. I've never felt more instantly at home than at this place. Also, Dave is a superb bartender!

Friendly non pretentious staff and neighbors... unless you just moved here, then check yourself.

Our favorite bar in the area and always filled with locals. They've done a great job to create tables outside social distant and provide a true bar experience for the locals

Really nice little spot. Hardly a food menu but the steak sandwich was delicious. Good beers too.
