Used to love it. Recently I was 2nd in line for coffee when an over-dressed, over-jeweled European tourist came in and cut the line, wheedled and pressured the flustered twenty something counter person—who let her do it. I politely confronted the tourist, who haughtily said "I vas in here earlier." I turned to the employee who muttered maybe she was or something, and served her. Both knew better; we were the only ones there.
If this was the only time I would ascribe it an experienced and easily manipulated staff person. But I have seen it before, especially on the weekends. Tourists are their main business in the warm months. Sorry, but this is not the New Paltz spirit, not by long shot, and most local shops would have set this rude woman back on her heels for attempting it. Puddle, train your staff better. Right is right.

Had a delicious Affogato for the first time and it was LIFE CHANGING! Great place for coffee or lunch. definitely a must visit!

Good, strong cup of coffee and yummy specialty drinks. The public tables are right in front of their patio that offers their own two tables, too!

Best coffee and food in New Paltz, maybe the entire Hudson Valley. Always fresh and delicious. Nearly always crowded as well. Your patience will be rewarded.

Picked up a half pound of the espresso blend, it's awesome. Super friendly, great coffee, can't be beat when in New Paltz.
