The Coffee Bar

Great little coffee shop in the heart of Lake Placid! I got an iced latte and a bacon egg and cheese and both were delicious and made well. Despite being peak tourist season, the shop wasn’t overcrowded and service was fast.

Natasha and Jeff alone make the experience worthwhile with their warm and welcoming nature. On top of that, the coffee is incredible (highly recommend the Dark Magic or Maple roasts) and sitting by the couches or on the balcony makes the experience so peaceful and serene with the beautiful lake views. The menu is great and the bagels are always fresh. We highly enjoyed the tuna or the cream cheese + jelly combos on a daily basis.

Quiet, great views, prices are reasonable (coffee cake plus cappuccino for $6.60). Can’t go wrong with that in such a touristy area!). It’s not as busy as it should be (luckily for us). Definitely a hidden gem!

Good fresh strong regular coffee. Lattés and crafted drinks were not their forté, came out weak and not really hot. Food selection is limited with premade eggs but fresh rolls and pastries. Beautiful views from the porch if there is available seating.

The views are great but be warned the deck is VERY small (4-6 people max with only 4 chairs) and you may not be able to on it. The food and coffee were good.

The prices online are not accurate and they’re dirty chai latte was chai tea, steamed milk, and an extra charge for the espresso. Charged me large for medium and it wasn’t very good. Recommend you look elsewhere…

The personal touch in a variety of delicious combinations. Very nice people with a great view of the lake to enjoy your coffee.
