Stopped by during a trip to Lake Placid with family. This place is incredible - the hot cocoa and donuts are so delicious. The owner is really kind and overall just great customer service. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in town and supporting this small business! We will be back!

Couldn't wait to try to this place! I was in LP for a couple days and wanted to treat myself to something sweet and kept walking by staring in through the window and on the last day of my trip I popped in and got two for the ride back home. This place was awesome! I got the Maple Bacon which was excellent I just wish there was more bacon on top to really give it that sweet & salty finish. The Smores was delicious and the donuts were soft and moist 5hrs later when I finally sat down to enjoy them. Service was friendly. On street parking.

I went there for the first time and I ordered the double up. I made a combination of the all American and the cookies and creme. The end result was to die for, the lady running the shop and making the doughnuts was extremely nice and the quality of the doughnuts was spectacular. I would 100% recommend that anyone in need of a good doughnut goes to this place. I will 100% be coming back.

The best donuts I've ever had in my life! We regularly visit Lake Placid and were so delighted to see Cocoa & Dough Co. take up residence on Main Street. Impeccable quality and flavor! I love the slightly crispy exterior and fluffy, airy interior. Too often when I get cake donuts elsewhere the dough is too dense and the toppings are not nearly as generous and decadent as those at Cocoa & Dough Co. We went every day of our trip to get donuts, hot cocoa, and/or hot dogs and then grabbed these 4 donuts for the ride home. Go early and you can have deliciously hot donuts made to order! My only regret is not buying some merch to rep this awesome business in the DMV. Love this business and can't wait to be back!

Bryce (and Buzz) were absolute sweethearts. Not only was the customer service absolutely amazing, but the options of what to get are out of this world! Donuts? They got it. Hot dogs? They got it. Fancy themed drinks? They got it! The s’more donut (I believe that is what it is called), was amazing. It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. This place is an absolute gem.

We decided to stop here during our first ever trip to Lake Placid. We were in the mood for a hot drink and the apple cider did not disappoint! I can honestly say it was the best apple cider I’ve ever had! And the cookie dough donut was super sweet and moist and I probably could’ve eaten at least five! You’re really missing out if you don’t stop here while you’re in Lake Placid!

The owner was extremely friendly. When we arrived, he was in the process of making a new batch. He had us order and go to a couple of stores, and when we got back, our donuts were waiting. They were DELICIOUS! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. So yummy. My son is gluten free due to EoE, and he really enjoyed his donut, as well. The only complaint was that all of our donuts were together in the same box. For most gluten free folks, that’s a no-no, but we’re fortunate that’s not an issue for us. Best donuts we’ve ever had!

Stopped in for hot cocoa and ended up leaving with a bags of donuts along with it . Aside from the great donuts and DELICIOUS hot cocoa, the customer service here is absolutely amazing. Talked to us about our trip and was so personable. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Stoped into there after dinner and the donuts were amazing!! The owner is super nice and they truly were the best donuts in the lake placid area.
