What a lovely place! It smells inviting right as you walk in. There is a case with amazing looking pastries all of which are housemaid. I really enjoyed the ham and cheese croissant I got. indoor and outdoor seating is available. Bring your own containers to refill on staples.

The coffee was awesome!! I got an iced maple syrup latte. I love the whole concept of the store, I really love it. But the place is a little overpriced. I would love to shop there, but now sure if id be able to afford it. But again, the coffee and baked goods were great.

First things first - great coffee here!
You can also buy groceries, featuring refills and bulk for soaps, grains, nuts, etc. Basic choices of high quality grocery items, including a refrigerated section, fresh produce, sandwiches, snacks.
Extra features: it's bikeable, just off the new Empire State Trail. No bike racks, yet. Clean restroom, outdoor seating. Next door to the Kingston Standard microbrewery. Around the corner from Revolution Bicycles, an excellent independent local bike shop. One block from the Meat Wagon butcher shop.

Again I try to give this place a chance. Totally dis functional and takes way to long to get an espresso shot. I think it’s due to the weird lay out and bad fengshui of the set up and where the check out area is etc. gorgeous looking baked goods in case. But it’s all tainted from the awful service received every time.

Placed an order for a sandwich to eat outside and asked for the sandwich to be heated. I was with other people who also were waiting for their order outside and folks brought their meals out to them when they were ready.
My order took especially long which was odd since it was a sandwich already assembled and I asked it to be warmed up. After 15-20min and seeing other people’s meals brought to them, I went inside to ask about mine. I saw it just hanging out there at the cashier and the cashier who rang me up was like “oh is that yours?” Even though I told him at the time of payment, I would be outside with the rest of my party. I grabbed my food, cooled down at this point and left. No apologies or explanation.

This place was fantastic. Super unique tasty ingredients here. Staff was amazingly helpful and shared a lot of knowledgeable suggestions with us not only about the products but also helped us learn about the town as we were travelling through. The unique experience and staff were so welcoming it made us want to return again in the future. Look out for review 2.0!

We love this place! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options at the deli counter. It’s also great for picking up veggies or other groceries instead of driving to Hannaford.

The bakery items are amazing. I love the lemon matcha cookies.

If you want a delicious cappuccino made with steamed organic milk (I can’t find that, well maybe Mother Earth) , I highly recommend. Their sandwiches are amazing, (wheat free options too)
homemade pastries and more. This is a rare place in Kingston that has excellent ingredients and excellent chefs behind the dishes served; from soups to rice plates. It’s expensive because they use the best ingredients. Love their shop too; especially their Swedish kitchen cloths and toothbrushes.

They have bulk foods, refillable materials such as liquid soap, and they have a great selection of plastic-free kitchenware and other items. Their pastries are really good, too!

I'm reserving one star because I think they could do a better job providing more of a price range of goods. I understand they have a small space and so have to be selective with their inventory, but I'd love to see a few plastic-free, but conventional items such as eggs and milk at more affordable prices.

That said, this is a great shop that is pushing the envelope of environmentally-friendly shopping in Kingston and I'm grateful for it.

I’m really enjoy having a local grocery with such local flavors so close to home! And the sandwiches! Let’s talk about those!

No, let’s just drool about them because they’re so. Darn. Good!

Fresh local produce makes my heart skip a beat.
Excellent pastries, cookies, and bread that my 102 year old great grandma approves of means it MUST be great!

Thank you for opening this place. I tell everyone to visit!
