One of the best flat whites I had in a while. Not once, but twice. The first time was when I was heading south from Toronto to Raleigh (for March break), and the next week when returning back. This is where kindness was shown too, we were transiting via Ellicottville and barely could make it to the coffee shop before they closed for the weekend. We called and requested to see if they could brew one last cup just “after” closing time. The hosts were more than happy to accommodate our request. Great place. Great people and great coffee! Will definitely visit again.

I ordered cortado but it was not good. The shop was cute

The guy working was condescending and rude. Wonder if he talks to all customers like that or just the women.

Great coffee and scones - friendly staff - relaxed hang out environment - multiple sitting options to chat.

Ski shop with it's own coffee corner. Really good coffee and cake. Recommended.

Passing through Ellicottville, I decided to stop and check out the town really quick (I walked like 3 streets lol)
Found this shop and they did a solid job. The owner really cared about the quality, and the espresso was solid.
I also bought a pastry (scone) and it was pretty mediocre (I would give it 2 out of 5 stars) but I had bought a bunch of stuff (several drinks, a sticker etc) and everything else was good. So I don't want to have my star review reflect negatively on an otherwise nice experience... But maybe don't buy the scone. :-P
Additionally, the shop had quality hiking/camping gear I had to talk myself out of buying. All around a really nice shop that I'm happy I found. Much enjoyed.

Very friendly service in a charming location with a variety of winter sports, camping and clothing options. Tasty beverages and yummy baked goods make this a must visit location.

Strolled in on a gorgeous Sunday morning to be greeted by a friendly helpful gentleman behind the counter. He asked me a few key questions about my coffee preferences without any judgment. He then presented me with two cups of incredibly perfect cappuccino. Seriously read my hungover coffee addicted brain. Great coffee. Great staff. Love it!

Coffee was great. The male owner or manager was just not pleasant. I didn't feel welcomed in the store. My family took a pottery class and I mentioned my experience in the coffee co, the owner of the pottery store said she used to rent a store space next to him and he was unpleasant. It almost felt like he treated locals better.

Ellicottville coffee company deserves more than 5 stars!! The coffee shop had a great atmosphere and unique space including chalkboard walls and ski lift chairs! I enjoyed conversing with the staff who were well informed about what to do in the Ellicottville area! I had a delicious latte and pastry! Then I browsed their Patagonia merchandise and found an awesome jacket that fit perfect. Also, the big barista was extra cute! Needless to say I will definitely be back for future visits!
