Great coffee! Obvious major plus, but aside from that the shop was beautifully decorated with a fully lush “plant bar” at the front, various pastries including vegan cookies, and an espresso where you can pick two or three shots for the same price. I found my new favorite espresso shop in Boreum for sure! Brandon was super helpful and very kind in serving me as well!

Double & triple shots for the same price - now that’s a great selling point!! But I had great coffee at their Park Slope location, so I knew I’d enjoy the coffee (they have all the usual espresso-based drinks, and I believe they use Devocion beans - at least those are the beans they’re selling in the shop). It’s a small space, so not really a place to hang out, more of a pick-up-coffee-to-go spot, but there are a couple of tables on the sidewalk (during warmer months). Love the decor with all the plants.

A true gem which is so easy to miss. The plant filled ambiance makes you feel relaxed and recharged.
The wide selection of lattes makes you want to try all of them. Also they have a vast selection of really good teas and non-diary milks. My matcha latte with hazelnut milk came out very fluffy (which is really hard to make). All savory pastries were gone, i had a peanut butter coockie which was good but too sweet (the barista warned me though that most of their pastries were pretty sweet). I definitely will be back.

One piece of feedback: sifting matcha before mixing it with water helps to avoid lumps, I had quite a few stuck in the bottom.

I don't know whether you make really good coffee or not since I don't drink coffee. My boyfriend ordered a coffee he said it was fine so I'm assuming you make decent coffee. I wanted a cup of tea. You have 24 teas according to the photo. I don't understand why you do not have a plain black tea?

A solid English breakfast tea or an Irish Breakfast tea would do for people who just want a strong cup of tea without any flavorings or fluff.

I realize that coffee nerds may not appreciate tea nerds but it would be nice if they could accommodate them.

I’ve lived up this block for almost 2 years and loved the convenience of coming here and I have always had pleasant experiences with the baristas. Unfortunately during my one day off, I went in this morning and there was a young lady with yellow hair that was literally rolling her eyes at every single customer and huffing and puffing for no reason. When I ordered I actually said good morning to see if she would respond and she said nothing. I said it again and she responded with “what’s your order” so I ordered. The lady in front of me that ordered a latte asked if the cup that’s been on the table for 2 mins was hers and the barista gave her the most rudest answer. We all looked at each other shocked by her rude and dismissive behavior, it’s as if we were inconveniencing her by spending money at this place of business. When I got my cup, I realized the lid was too big. Asked for a different cup and got a very rude response as well as a sigh and “man ok I’ll give you another cup”. I told this girl that we all have bad days, but there is never a reason to be disrespectful or hurtful to anybody. I’m a millennial too, and also have bad days (including working holidays) but I will never ever treat anybody with disrespect. She should be grateful she is able to work, not many people around the world have that luxury. Be nice, it doesn’t cost a damn thing! That said, the coffee is ok but nothing to die for. Won’t be coming back here ever again.

Love the plant table, chalkboard menu as much as the mango matcha.

This is the best spot for coffee — triple shot of espresso with reishi mushroom! So good. Marc the barista is very kind and the ambiance is very Brooklynest

Love this neighborhood coffee shop - very kind employees, delicious cold brew (not overly acidic like some others in the area). They've got a nice selection of pastries; recommend the everything-bagel-seasoning danish!

This latest location is Nerd Be Cool's best yet! The service and espresso is of extremely high quality. The store is accessible and well-designed. This is a great addition to the neighborhood.

Great coffee shop with a variety of drinks. I'm not a coffee drinker and still had lots of options. Friendly staff, outdoor seating available, and nice atmosphere.
