Ordered a chocolate cookie and oat milk latte. The person who was taking orders was constantly chatting with other customers and immediately forgot my orders even though he acknowledged both of my orders by saying "sure" "of course" the first time.

The cookie: Last piece. Handed it to the white customer 2 people behind immediately after he ordered.

The latte: left on the counter. Handed the espresso immediately to the white customer who took the chocolate cookie.

He then turned to me and asked, " I'm sorry, are we waiting for something?"

Later I learned the person who was taking orders is one of the owners. Not sure if this is racially motivated subconsciously, but my POC friends confirmed similar experiences happened multiple times in the near past.

It's ironic given the fact of the shop location and its objective.

The coffee is ok/good tho. I'll have my white friend order for me from now on :)

Very biased to people of color. Watched the person at the counter interact with white people in line in a more pleasant manner, striving for customer service. This place is a block for my house so I was really looking forward to making it my neighborhood coffee shop.

Coffee by day, wine by night? Yes please! Perfect neighborhood place! Enjoy the drinks, take in the vibes.

Love our neighborhood coffee place. Coffee and pastries are on point. Calm vibe to hangout. Haven't tried the evening menu yet.

I moved to the neighborhood yesterday and needed a place to sit and work for a few minutes this morning. I'm glad I came in to daughter, really couldn't have asked for a better environment to sip a latte and decompress from a long day moving. The maple glazed pistachio donut was wonderful, too!

Quality coffee! A deserved stop for your morning brew. Excellent service as well. I appreciated that they entertained the idea of grinding some coffee beans for me that I had already half finished and hadn’t even bought from their establishment. They didn’t grind them in the end leading to me attaining the catch phrase, “that really grinds my beans” They didn’t want to taint their grinder, which is used with light and medium roast, with my
Dark roast. So I appreciated the dedication to quality. The barista also told me that he likes to put sugar in his coffee but only when on vacation, which was also pleasant.

Really nice vibes and beautiful art. Went there to get some work done during the day- only thing is that the seating isn't very comfortable for working, but it looked like a great place to hang out.

Aside for the unique and beautiful ambiance inside, they also set up beautiful flora around the front outdoor seating. Good people, great service. This is Brooklyn at its finest. Highly recommended.

Very cozy neighborhood cafe. The drinks are delicious and the food is really good quality. Egg sandwich is a must try. The pastries are super fresh.

The cinnamon rolls are the best I’ve ever had. The milk drinks like lattes and flat whites quality can depend on the barista that day - but overall a Brooklyn gem!!
