My favorite coffee in NYC. Their locations are always a good vibe - and the staff are alwaaays so friendly and chill. Pastries are so good too. Blank > everything.

They’re giving out free coffee which is fine, but they are pushing out locally owned shops. They’re backed by venture capital so if you value small local businesses best to stay away and go to you locally owned shop instead.

*edit in light of the recent NYTimes article about Blank Street:

Didn’t know their coffee brewing was automated. Even more reason to not go here. Go support your local barista.

This is one of the many locations of the quickly expanding blank street chain. This location is set up by the outside of an old diner and has a handful of tables and chars scattered about. Some bubbles were set up to shelter customers from the wind. Got to try one of their coffees for free by downloading their app. I got the iced s’mores latte. It had just the right mount of flavor and sweetness. Will be returning.

Love this place, but after my experience today, I’m not so sure. I ordered a lightly iced iced Salted Caramel Chocolate Drink with 3 chocolate chip cookies. I received 3 burnt cookies that are not chocolate chip with a drink that was all water with some chocolate, no caramel and a lot of ice. It tasted like water with no milk whatsoever. It was an incredibly disappointing experience from a place that has always been consistent.

This coffee chain exists to buy out/push out smaller businesses and coffee shops! BE WARE!

Listen! The coffee is awesome. The people are generally nice. However, the no cash accepted here; we're working on it; in a couple of weeks which is an outright lie is a deal breaker.

This place really needs a brick and mortar with more pastries. They would be huge. Staff is cool, music is good, pastries are great, coffee is good. It feels like a start up but they could be amazing.

one of my favorite places to get a matcha 🍵 it’s hard to find quality matcha nowadays but they use matchabar & it’s delish! + the baristas are always 10/10 sweeties & make me smile. thank you Blank Street 🤍

I like the coffee, but definitely avoid the small size if you are getting a hot coffee. Too small. This and a pasty is $10. Seems a little extreme?

Love the baristas, the atmosphere, the lattes and matcha lattes, the people watching. I remember many incarnations of that old diner.
