Adding to my “must” list for Beacon. I’m commenting on the shop in the back, because I didn’t try the front cafe (though my friend who lives here raved about the food and coffee, and she’s the one who told me to go in, when I bumped into her on the sidewalk). Superbly curated shop that combines the best of design and utility. Little King is the kind of place I’d pop into every time I passed. Price range is ideal, too. Something for everyone.
Little King has exceptional savory vegan options! I make a note to get anything vegan they offer when I visit because everything is super fresh, well-balanced and delicious. So far I've tried their vegan squash white bean sandwiches and sunchoke romesco sandwiches on house-made focaccia. Both have been knockouts. I've also tried a bunch of their grab-and-go vegan items from the cold case including their potato salads, pasta salads, corn salads and kimchi. All have been stellar. They don't always have vegan sandwich options and depending on the day their vegan cold case items can sell quick. A testament to how great their food is. They also have a tasty vegan granola bar that reminds me of a fresh fruit crumb bar. I definitely recommend visiting!
An interesting shop with a cafe. I got their egg sandwich and it was great. Their iced mocha was okay, but could use some improvement. I'll likely come back to try more of their cafe items. As for the rest of the shop, it was great. They had a lot of items that caught my attention to include books, magazines, zines, chefs knives, and dried morels. Definitely worth stopping by to check out.
What we've all been waiting for in Beacon! I stopped in the other day and its part cafe and part shop. They have a selection of pastries and sandwiches and I loved everything I ate and the quality reminded me of what we would get in the city. The shop carries a lot of brands you can't find in town from homewares, skincare and I love the little trinkets as well. Its playful, but modern and a great addition to town. The owners and everyone who works there is super nice too! I'll be there often whether my wallet likes it or not.
Very charming retail space and exceptionally tasty cafe offerings and knowledgeable and friendly staff. Pricing is in line with similar Beacon establishments. This is a nice compliment to other shops on this part of Main St.; Banks Square has an amazing patio but the the food isn’t a main feature. Beacon Bread offers more extensive sit down service but is not the best choice for a quick cup of coffee (and, shhhh, their baked goods don’t compare). Welcome to Beacon, Little King! Best of luck. :)
Best latte this side of the Hudson (which is saying a lot!) Expertly and tastefully curated selection of gifts, homewares, gourmet goodies and skin care. Only negative is that it’s not open Mon-Wed!

Come for the cappuccino and pastries, stay to look around (and buy) the thoughtfully curated items.

Great espresso and baked goods. Nice bright interior, friendly staff. Some home goods and kitchen things in the back with a Scandinavian flare.

My new favorite cup of coffee in town! The curation of homewares is impeccable and the staff couldn't be sweeter. A perfect addition to Main St!

Get that Olive Oil Cake. It's OMG good! Delicious coffee, too. Plus, the place is real nice and you get service with a smile.
