Came here last month with two friends. One of them got a massive headache and we asked the manager if the restaurant had any advil/a first aid kit. He told us to wait a moment and then he literally went across the street to a deli to purchase Advil for us! I was so impressed that he went above and beyond his duties to make his customers feel comfortable. It was a really nice gesture and it stayed with me. Thank you, if you happen to be reading this.

I’ve been to the Grand several times and I like the food, drinks and ambiance. That never disappoints. The waiters and waitresses are always very polite and attentive as well. However, the hostesses at this place are the worst. I’ve seen two different ones and they always roll their eyes, they complain if the restaurant is busy and they don’t have tables etc. They are just the worst, makes you second guess if you should even consider waiting for a table because they’re service up front is so bad. Thankfully I get past it because I like the place. But if I was a customer coming here my first time, no way! I’d leave and never go back. I hope the manager has a conversation with these hostesses and fixes whatever issues they’re having.

Literally HORRIBLE. I just moved here and gave this place a shot on a Wednesday night. Got a table, and waited 15 mins before anyone even acknowledged us, and the only reason she did was because my partner had to get the waitresses attention. We asked for a waitress, she said she would "get one for us", ended up coming back 5 mins later and asking us what we wanted to drink. 10 mins later, still no drink. The bartender was 10 feet away leaned over the bar staring directly at our table, never made an effort, and the waitresses were too busy in la la land. We ended up walking out without ever being served. And the worst part, the place was only at ~25% capacity. No wonder. Horrible service and rude careless servers, will not be returning.

Went for brunch, first the service was super slow, they took about 20 min to ask for our order we was a group of 8 people, 7 of them got the unlimited drink option that’s only for 90 min and they only got 2 drinks each.. the food was ok noting out of the extraordinary American brunch food which it’s ok.

They charged us 14 times the unlimited drink option and when the check was dropped at the table 20 min later she comes and almost charged us that amount it was very tiny and if I didn’t noticed she would not even care. Never apologized just went back for 15 more min and charged us 8 times when only 7 had the unlimited option when I asked her why she said because we were 8… I bought my own drink (I didn’t liked the options they had for unlimited) and you still charged me for the unlimited drink option… I won’t be coming back to a dishonest establishment that allows their employees to make such mistakes and still don’t fix the problem. Many other options in NYC.
