Good coffee break, nice and quiet as well. Good to bring a book to read.

I would give Professor Java 10 Stars if I could! Coconut Cream Tea hooked me in years ago and now the soup, sandwiches and atmosphere keep me a raving fan! #drinkmoretea

Just walked in at 1. Cashier didn't ask me what I wanted , just stood by the register and huffed. So I took it upon myself and ordered my drink and three cookies for my daughter. Didn't say thank you, didn't give me a total just huffed and grabbed her keys then walked away to complain about a pick up order with another worker. Four other people waiting for their orders and they completely forgot to do one guys order and she shouted " WHAT CHA WAITING ON" Where the customer then had to recite his whole order. I waited until 1:22 then left. I don't understand the complete lack of decently from this one employee.

Overall i really enjoy this place but their breakfast sandwiches are 2 stars at best. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and asked if the croissant would be grilled and was told “yes” but it wasn’t. The egg on the sandwich looks like it was scrambled, poured into a tray, nuked, then cut into strips and placed on the sandwich. The bacon is thin, soft like the microwaveable precooked strips they sell in the store. They do have good coffee and lattes. Assortment of baked goods are usually great but have had a few day olds in the past (today included). If they could actually use good bacon and fresh eggs their sandwiches would be worth getting. Otherwise, I’d stay away from them. On the plus side they always give you a side of fruit with your food and the Atmosphere is welcoming. Most of the staff are very pleasant but some of them would benefit from learning how to smile.

I got a chai latte. It was average. It was warm, but not hot. Just average.
The coffee shop seems like a neat place with a relaxed atmosphere.
The service was quick but not overly welcoming in my opinion.
I'd go back again to try something else on the menu at least.

I went here based on the Times Union 2022 best of the Capital Region rankings. I’ve been several times and have got the lattes both iced and hot. All have been excellent. My favorite so far has been the mudcano javachino.

I've loved their coffee for many, many years! The new place isn't quite the same (I miss the old one's ambience) but it still tastes good. They have a great variety.

I never really leave reviews but felt compelled to say something. The coffee and food there is always great but the past few times i was there, the employees were unfriendly and seemed pretty miserable.
Coffee 5/5
Service 3/5

Dined here today for the first time. Our sandwiches were delicious, but the baked goods and coffee were exceptional. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is quite calming and the decor, eclectic. Can't wait to go there again.
