I am a bicycle tourist on my way to Austin, Texas, after visiting the Grand Canyon by bicycle. I am resting in Taos for a few days. I passed by Taos Java and heard lovely music played by a gentleman with an acoustic guitar on the covered ourdoor patio by the front door of Taos Java. When his song was finished, we struck up a conversation about the music! Everyone at Taos Java, customers and baristas alike, was so welcoming and friendly that I could hardly believe it! Taos Java is a gem of an espresso cafe with sandwiches, desserts, and amazing espresso drinks. I ordered a cinnamon roll and a latte. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend a visit to Taos Java!

I needed to find a place to work from until the library opened. I sat in here for a few hours and watched everyone work incredibly hard, the staff was so beyond friendly and inviting. Awesome experience for everyone that walked/ drove through.

Strong and delicious coffee. Fast and friendly service. Nice atmosphere ☕️

I’ve ordered two americanos here over the last week, and while the drive through is a little slow, the drinks were well made, service was friendly, and the price was fair. They seemed to really care about making it right for me, in terms of how much cream and sweetener. Check them out!

Cool place. Decor is very nice. Coffee wasn't as good as the world place but service was friendly.

Beautiful interior with a fireplace, so cozy in winter. Coffee is good too

Pros: cute place, quality espresso drinks available early, not a chain. Cons: you need a mask even though there's no sign (so you just have to wait for a staff member to correct you), you are charged extra for using a credit card, and breakfast burritos were not available 45 min after opening time (for unclear reasons). Other reviews mentioned friendly service and great burritos but I didn't get to experience either of those. I used to manage an indie coffee shop so I'm sympathetic and I'd rather support a local business, but at least at Starbucks I know what to expect. Would not return here.

Had a lovely visit with the owners while i drank my yummy cup of coffee this morning. What a beautiful place. Look forward to trying more on the menu. Great prices too!

The best tasting vanilla chai in town! And the best customer service too.
