On a 6 month trip this was our first stop in the mountains and it was perfect. Ended up having to work there for half a day and Althea were gracious hosts. Highly recommend and great coffee.
It's a Starbucks! Coffee mediocre. Only one person behind the bar. Long line. They don't want you to use the Internet but the batista nicely gave me the password. Still haven't found a decent coffee shop in Taos.
So the barista - a middle aged woman with short brown hair - was a bit off-putting. She asked if I was local, and I said “Albuquerque.” She said, “Well, that’s not LOCAL.” Excuse me! I thought she was trying to make conversation. Lol. Then when I asked her to put a few extra pumps of syrup (after trying my tea) she said “ Well you learned something today. Next time you’ll know what to say.” What???! The tea was ok - but I won’t be back.
I’ve tried going 3 times in the middle of the day and there is a handwritten sign on the door saying they’re closed for a few hours. The last time I tried I went at 11:50 and the sign said “Closed from 12-4 today”, so I went in and they wouldn’t serve me. Can’t say anything about the coffee they serve, but poor management and customer service.

Your baristas could be a little faster at making coffee. Some people dont have time for you to drag your feet. Good coffee ,slow slow service

Starbucks in an independent coffee shop in an historic plaza? What is this the year 2000?

Loved the ice tea. No more expensive than any other coffee shop.
