Mucho Gourmet Sandwich Shoppe

It's the best place for sandwiches in Santa Fe! They're usually very busy but it's worth the wait. My only complaint is that they are only open until 3pm.

One of the top sandwich shops in the state, and definitely one of the Santa Fe originals. If you want something spicy even for locals try ghost pepper jack cheese. If you are a fan of egg salad muchos has 2 awesome options that are always fresh.

HUMONGOUS delicious sandwiches. Not much ambience, but that's not why you go here. You can expedite your order by calling it in in advance. Otjerwise, be prepared to wait in line. Also be aware that they close at 2:30 p.m.

Love the hot grinder this sandwich shop never let's you down. Quality food and good people!

There's not a sandwich they don't do well. It's probably because they use premium Boar's Head meats/cheeses. There green chile is perfectly spicy. Next I'll be trying the soup.
The staff are also top notch.

i had nearly forgotten this place existed. i think they do what they do better than anyone else. call ahead and turn it into a fast food joint. and it's perfect for talking to strangers in line, which is my jam.

It might be a little out of the way for tourists, but that's fine by me! I absolutely love this place and will happily wait in line for their BLT. Staff is always friendly, and food is delicious.

They NEVER answer their phone when i am trying to place a to-go order...Their food is awesome! #UPDATE: they've gotten A LOT better at answering their phones. I've learned that you just have to call a couple of times before they'll answer. The food is totally worth the hassle of having to call multiple times!!

Good affordable food. Go before the office lunch crowd makes it really busy or wait until it slows down.
