Hospitality and atmosphere are second to none. Just off the downtown plaza in old Mesilla you can get great coffee, tea and pastries. The artisan Mexican market is all hand picked items that the two owners choose on their frequent trips south of the border. The true adobe buildings are charming, warm and inviting you to stay, relax and listen to some music. Adjoining the NM Vintage Wine Bar you can see a little live music almost every day in the afternoon. If not, Juan and Claudia will have some playing for you while you have fun conversations with friends over espresso drinks and paletas.
After eating and shopping nearby we were looking for a late afternoon coffee and were recommended here by locals. This place is amazing and has so many options for beverages and snacks as well as lots of nice things to buy. We got some hand woven hand towels and explored the beautiful shop. You MUST go here if you are nearby it’s an absolutely gorgeous place. They also have an amazing seating area outside for you to enjoy your coffee and snack.
This was such an adorable café, I am so glad to have learned about it! We walked in and there were adorable soivineer items as well as artwork. The whole Cafe smelled of a fireplace and good food, it was wonderful. We ordered at the bar then sat outside on the darling patio. It has so much seating and the chairs and tables were so pretty. Sitting out there made me feel so calm, it was so cozy! To top off this already wonderful experience our food was brought out to us, we ordered a Chai Latte and a London fog (with lavender) both these drinks were made with exceptional care. We also ordered a carrot cake and a churro, my husband who is a self proclaimed carrot cake officionado said that the cake was spectacular! My churro was fresh made and it was served with dulce de Leche on the side, I hadn't has a churro in a while and this beautiful delicious creation absolutely hit the spot! The staff were all so friendly, the gentleman who i believe is the owner/manager was so friendly and lovely to chat with! He claims that they have the best tamales in town, I can't wait to go back and see if he is right! 😉
I would highly recommend making a stop at Rincon de Mesilla if you are in the area! The shop has so many unique things to offer from authentic and beautiful jewelry and shoes to delicious coffee and yummy treats that you can enjoy either on the inside or outside of the shop, both comfortable and picturesque. I personally purchased earrings and espadrilles that I have remained very happy with, and always get compliments on! The cherry on top is the fantastic and friendly owners and those who help work to support the shop. Go visit Rincon de Mesilla!
Very cute local place that serves coffee, tea and a small menu of pastries and egg dishes. Great outdoor seating area. Right next to a wine patio and across from our local art theater so location is perfect. Parking is a bit tricky at times but there is good parking a short walk away. Definitely recommended.
An authentic experience of comfortable home welcoming ambiance, with professional customer service. Wholesome purpose lives here in spanish and English. A true jewel. My gift during an unexpected travel. Thank you Juan and Claudia!!!!
Such a cute place and the workers are so nice!!! The Oaxacan mocha is nice and spice-y and the mollete was so yummy. The patio area is so nice, especially on a sunny day, and the crafts they have are also so fun to look at.
I love this place. I had a banana nut muffin and a mocha. They were tasty. The environment is like I was at a cafe in Paris, France. Definitely will be going back for breakfast.
We visited on the most beautiful day and sat in the adorable patio as we enjoyed our mollete, empanadas, pastries, and drinks. Everything was so yummy, especially the mollete! The staff are so kind and told us about the history of the area and the local artisans. Everyone coming through seemed so happy to be here. Highly recommend!

They have many types of teas and coffees. We enjoyed a breakfast sandwich. They will soon have a full kitchen. The owners were pleasant and attentive.
