Grounded

This was my first time here and I didn’t care for it. I tried a Lovely Lavender Latte with oat milk. The latte wasn’t really a latte - half my cup was the foam from the steamed oat milk. The drink itself was pretty bitter and left a weird aftertaste. They also use bits of dried lavender in the drink (very strong flavor). Maybe the cups they use are deceiving but it looked awfully small to be paying $6.00 for a sub-par drink. I tried a piece of the pita bread they serve with their green hummus, and it was tough, which is not what I expected for pita. Maybe I’ll try Grounded again some other time.

The coffee is awesome. The açaí bowls are my fave in town! The atmosphere is enjoyable and unique!

First, this place is cozy.
Like, I could see myself hanging out on the couches with a book and a drink, or spending time catching up with friends over a pizza. Love the look and feel of the furniture.

I highly recommend the lavender latte with oat milk. I'll be back for more of those.

Passing through Las Cruces and we were looking for pizza. What a great find!! Very welcoming unique vibe. Staff was very nice. The pizza was made in an open kitchen with a wood fire oven. The pizza was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

This 'local' shop does not offer discounts to the community, sadly. It is pricey for okay quality. You are definitely paying the aesthetic of this place. The fancy cups, the "vibes", not quality coffee.

Please support other local businesses with higher quality for half the price, and care about the LC community!

The response by the business seems to imply I was wrong by saying they didn't offer discounts.... but they have just changed their policy, apparently? Still didn't get what the discounts they offered were... student? Elderly? Not sure.
I do enjoy how the original response by the business was edited after a few days hahah

You are a business and this is my REVIEW as a local person in Las Cruces. Please take criticism better!

My fav place to go to study or work the vibes are immaculate and their food is soo good! I love their variety of snacks/food. Also, it is so nice to have a cafe in LC that stays open later in the day. I like that there are morning and evening food/drink options as well! Sometimes there's live music too and it's always so much fun to go. The decor is chef's kiss as well.

Excellent setting a tad pompous though. Love the plant based business model even though I love my half n half Creates a healthy awareness for oneself of course. But having a food service background from Las Vegas nv I noticed the pizza guy was somewhat sloppy, even though he was wearing gloves dropping food picking it up tossing it then back to food handling is a nono. So who knows what else he does. You know who you are. May I suggest health or Biology class or a professional for the position.

I go here way too often. The prices fall in line with similarly styled "hipster" offerings. While I would oviously prefer it to be more affordable, I cannot knock the quality of food offerings here. They are one of the few vegan friendly establishments in Las Cruces, and for that it has become a weekly date night for myself and my significant other who is vegan. The espresso is well crafted. As a NY'er I had to try the pizza. While it is more of a Italian styled pizza, than NY, It is the best pizza place I have found in the area. The brick oven gives a perfect crust, and the quality ingridients are noticeable. Every so often the quantity of sauce lacks, but otherwise this spot is awesome.
The vibe is also unique and warm.
Definitely try it out!

Cool place to hang out. No cow milk options (vegan) . Nice outdoor area, funky inside decor. Service is quick. Coffee, sadly, is rather average.

Great atmosphere, great coffee, and we love their gluten-free pizza!! Highly recommend!! Also, perfect poke stop!
