We were trying to find some place open for breakfast on Sunday. We drove by and the parking lot was full. It's very small inside and it was packed with locals. I had the chorizo burrito which was delicious! The green and red chili sauce were both so good! My husband had bacon and eggs and a pancake. It was all delicious! The staff was very friendly! Definitely worth the stop!

Small place, great coffee, perfect green chili, friendly fast service and a breakfast that actually tastes good. Feels like most of the patrons are friends and family: nice quality American eatery. 5 stars

5/6/22 stopped for breakfast on route to Las Vegas. We walked in and were greeted by the waitresses and sat down. Food was great 👍 Huerva Ranchos and Chicken Fried Steak Omlette. Highly recommended as a stop for food.

The food here is amazing. I am still dreaming of the tamales I had here. My friend had the hurricane burrito and we had a traditional pancakes and egg breakfast. I appreciated that everyone that went in greeted each other, especially if they were locals. My friend forgot his bag and Sandra and Crystal ( I hope I am spelling her name right) held it until we returned and for that we are so grateful!

I came on a day that was snowing very bad. Decent food.

This is a small local restaurant that is definitely the place for breakfast. The staff is courteous and the establishment is clean. From traditional to Mexican flair it is all here and yummy. All located on Route 66, what's not to love about that!

Real New Mexico green and red chili and enchiladas. What more needs to be said?

A cozy little place, very limited seating, no bigger than 5 in a party, I'd imagine? Pancakes were delicious! The chicken fried steak was tough, eggs were over cooked and hash browns were mushy, maybe they're not all the time? I may give them a second shot another day. Heard it was a top place to go, having one of those days, maybe? Servers were attentive.

While traveling through New Mexico, didn’t want to eat at the same ol’ same ol’ fast food or chain restaurants along the way. Came across Sandra’s Place off Route 66. It was small and inconspicuous from the outside, but don’t let that fool you. Inside had ample seating for the small size, with most of the tables occupied. I can see why. The staff was super friendly and the food was fantastic. We were all very satisfied with our meals (breakfast) and were pleased to find breakfast burritos (we’re from California/Texas) with excellent red and green sauces. I’m sure the locals don’t want this gem spoiled, but had to give a shout out!

So, looking at this place from the road I would not have stopped. Lots of good Google reviews so we stopped for breakfast.
Good was very good and the service was top-notch. This seems like the kind of place the locals know about and love.
It is a small place so more than 4 or 5 need not apply.
