After reading all the good reviews we decided to give the Router 66 Diner a try. We were not disappointed! The food was good quality. The fry bread was excellent, compliments to the chef! Stacy, our server, was friendly, helpful, and represented the diner well. We would definitely eat there again! There is a wide variety of dishes to meet the differing dietary needs that so many have. Thank you for a great experience!

I'm amazed with the quick and accurate service!!
Drink refilled without us saying a WORD.
Food came out in less than 10 minutes, and you can order anything you dream of, at any hour ( between 7 - 7!)
Wonderful route 66 diner, absolutely iconic inside, lovely waitress and teamwork. They obviously care about doing the best they can.

So far we've been to three different restaurants on a quest for the perfect Navajo taco and Route 66 diner wins hands down! The perfect combination of fresh fry bread, refried beans, ground beef, lettuce, tomato, and cheese. We also enjoyed the western omelette and appreciated that the full menu was available all day. It really helped our group to find options that worked with the different dietary restrictions we have to deal with. Stacey took great care of us and we really enjoyed our experience! The atmosphere is nice, the portions were big, and the water was really good.

We struggle to find quality dining in Gallup in our trips to CA and back. This one is a winner. We ordered a burger and a cheese enchilada plate. The enchiladas were small, which was fine for my big fat butt, but everything was tasty and the ingredients were all very fresh. We had an excellent and extremely friendly server. The whole restaurant, including the restrooms, was very clean and well kept. We’ll definitely be back!

Got there just before closing and Stacy graciously welcomed us in. We had yummy bacon cheese burgers with a big pile of crispy fries. Stacy was friendly and fun to talk to. Even enjoyed a chat with the proprietor, Sal. Clean place with a 50s vibe. Enjoyed!

We are so glad we stopped here for dinner! The food was absolutely delicious. We had chile cheese fries (Christmas). I'm so glad she told us about the portion size as a reg was more than enough for 2 people. I'm normally all about Greem Chile, but their red is so delicious, I was even dipping my very yummy country fried steak in it. The country fried steak was tender, full of flavor, and a very good crust. The fajitas were perfect, tender, tasty, and very filling. We also enjoyed the salsa and could eat it by the pint. We will be back, next stop in Gallup. Good to go on Vaca, even better to come back home to great Chile. Thanks, ladies, for being so attentive and very nice.

This place was very cute, the staff was very friendly. The food was really good. I had a sopapilla breakfast with eggs, hash browns, and sausage in a huge sopapilla. My husband had a bacon burger which was very good although the French fries weren't the best. He said the men's bathroom was dirty and beeded attention. But this was an interesting surprise along route 66.

This was a great little lunch spot on our road trip. Was a little hidden from our route but still close enough. Good customer service and the food was pretty good. It's a small diner with not much room but would still recommend as part of the Route 66 experience.

Great little place for a pit stop. The Burgers were really great and the view was not to shabby (also great) I'd definitely recommend a stop to stretch your legs and grab a great bit to eat. There was also constant stream of locals which for me is always a great sign and everyone knew everyone. Stop by its worth it.

Holy Smokes. Now I have had the best open face smothered red chile cheese burger and fries on the West side of New Mexico. Hand made fresh ground beef patty, Delicious.
