We were driving from TX to Colorado for spring break and stopped in for lunch because of the great reviews. I’m sorry to say that the food was absolutely terrible. Cold, burnt tasting and some weird sauces on the bbq chicken that they claimed was sweet homemade bbq sauce. Tasted like marinara sauce. The mashed potatoes tasted like something out of a box, unseasoned and same with the green beans. The food was just awful. The service was great and the waiter was really trying hard but the food was some of the worst we’ve ever had at a restaurant. I wasn’t going to leave a review but felt that I had to warn other out of owners so they can save their money!!

Still sitting here finishing up. Staff is friendly and attentive, food is hot and clearly all made in house (including the fried okra)! Only drawback was a kind of dry piece of fried chicken, but chicken breasts are finicky and all the other options at my table were fantastic.

This place is ok. Out here in the middle of no where I don't expect super high quality because of logistics but.... there was a fly prominently displayed in my box of fries. It was pretty crispy. The fries weren't. The temperature of the oil took care of any icky stuff so I'm not really concerned. More of quality control issue. Don't let food go out like that and dry the fries better.

This is one of those few places you call “a real find”. Attractive, wonderful extremely friendly service (made total strangers feel like regulars!) and terrific food with a nice variety. As we were heading back to Midwest, it was last chance for New Mexican cuisine and first hint of BBQ to come in Kansas. We plan to return!

I had the ribs with slaw & squash 😘👍🤸‍♂️ very good. Waitress was VERY understanding of our extremely picky child. Husband had meatloaf, salad , potatoes. All very good. If you are in Clayton & hungry, give this place a try !!

Very friendly staff - the General Manager was awesome. The fried mushrooms were the best I’ve ever tasted and the sirloin steak was tender and very flavorful! I highly recommend stopping here.

Great food, and little Gracie was just the best. She waited on my brother and I with attentive cheer and a great attitude. If I'm EVER paying through town again, this is where I'll eat. Good food, good service, good price.

Waited 45 minutes for food and there was one table of 4 before us. We ordered the appetizer plate. When asked if we could get the food Togo because of how long it was taking the kitchen staff was very rude at the request.

My only regret is not getting more ribs. The pulled port and sausage are good, but the ribs stand apart. If I'm passing this route again, I'll definitely be back for a full rack!

Great find on Hwy 87 as we were headed back to Texas. Surprised to find they have only been open since mid-June. Mashed potato bowl was delicious, fried chicken salad great. Stop in for a visit!
