Friendship lasts forever. I got the friendship iced tea and my boyfriend got a honey bear iced coffee. The olive green and black color pallete is cute. I love it. But the floor is uneven therfore causing a wobbly table.

Blackbird coffee house is nestled in the corner of Santa Fe and it's really not the kind of place that demands attention. It's a low-key place with a ton of personality. Small details like the type of mug to the decor to the couches has personality. I had a very quick visit in because I was in there to grab a cup of coffee. I had their house coffee which was really nice and I absolutely loved their milk jug - shaped like a bird and fitting the name and theme. Service was quick and there was a line after me and I noticed the servers were patient. Overall, nice place, nice service and nice coffee. Really cannot go wrong

The best outdoor seating in the area. The cafe is small and cute, and sits at the end of secluded courtyard with a central fountain and cafe tables nestled throughout trees and plants.
They have great roasts, and their specialty drinks are fantastic.

Another Reason to Visit the Old Town Plaza
Who doesn't love a good cup of coffee? On my most recent trip to the area, I found BlackBird Coffee House, completely by fluke. I was staying at the El Vado Motel right down the road and it just happened so that their on-site coffee shop had recently departed the Food Pod area. I was left with in-room coffee, which was okay but needing my daily Red-eye, I had to make a trip to a local Starbucks. When I got back to my room I googled local independent coffee shops and saw that the BlackBird was located at my next destination, the Old Town Plaza.
The Blackbird is a quaint little coffee shop located in an alleyway just off the Plaza at Old Town Plaza. They use organic coffees and make classic coffee variations, and their own BlackBird featured coffee creations as well. There is seating inside the BlackBird and outside in the alleyway, I took my coffee to the Plaza and enjoyed while I was exploring. The Shop is on the smaller side but has enough room for souvenirs, and coffee displays and they also have free wifi onsite. My coffee that day was the Honey-Bear, made with a dash of honey, cinnamon and milk. It was a nice coffee. The back of the Coffee Shop has a large mural on the wall of well, you guessed it...a BlackBird. Overall this is a great little coffee shop and a great addition to the Old Town Plaza. If you're ever at the Plaza for a visit and need a coffee you know where to go.

In the best way possible, this feels like going to a friend’s basement for coffee. This is a nice little coffee shop that’s hidden away, but well worth visiting. The patio area is nice and in the atmosphere is very welcoming. My only complaint is that the pastries are a bit expensive, around 8 or 9 dollars. Otherwise, great place!

My latte was delicious and the service was wonderful.
Best place in town for a coffee or latte! Check it out.

The best croissant I’ve ever had and the cold brew is amazing! If you’re looking for a local coffee place this is it!

Friendly service and fun coffee drinks! Love the dairy-free milk options (including Almond and Oat Yeah). Wish they offered gluten free snacks. Great place to hang out when trekking through Old Town.

Paid a visit during Christmas week vacationing at n New Mexico. If we not I could take this place back to Boston with me!!! My hot beverage was phenomenal and the cozy courtyard setting ideal. Brought home a mug to remember.
