Black River Roasters

A proper coffee joint! What a pleasure to find a coffee shop that clearly knows, understands, and cares about coffee. Imho, the popular coffee chains have ruined coffee and mostly serve sugar filled coffee drinks. Black River actually knows the difference between a flat white, cortado and latte. Wish it was closer. It's a one hour drive for me. That should tell you how good it is at Black River!

This is certainly THE place to go if you'd like a delicious cup of cappuccino in a comfortable setting. My cappuccino was fantastic. The upstairs lounge is spacious, with a comfortable seating area. My friends and I enjoyed our time there this morning. Please support this business.

Love, love, love the coffee. Best coffee ever. I just sincerely wish that the staff was better :( It is painful to order and wait for coffee and it is often wrong. Dear owner, please hire better staff or me and many others will likely not come anymore. Please!!!!!! Keep your business alive and invest in some good staff!!!

Coffee and prices are good but they need to work on their speed. Sometimes it takes up 10min to get a cup of cappuccino. They have enough staff they are just not organized….Or maybe get another espresso machine so that two people can make drinks simultaneously.

Was driving down 22 when someone cut me off and hard turned into the driveway, thought to myself “that must be some fine coffee to risk your car and safety for”. Went in the following week to try for myself and was not disappointed. Bought a bag of beans and a latte. Thanks to some fool you made a new customer I guess.

By far the best coffee in the area. I'll take a detour anytime I'm around BRR, just to get a great cup of coffee and pick up more beans for home brewing. Staff is very knowledgeable and always friendly. The snacks and pastries are excellent quality, too. Try the ham and Gruyere croissant if it's available. So, so good!

An exceptional roaster and coffee shop. I've seen a few coffee businesses start strong but then decline in quality as they expanded. These guys have really kept it up for at least a couple years and I hope they don't change. Some creative flavored options but all of their drip and even espresso is excellent unadulterated.

Nice place to get some coffee or tea and sit awhile. The coffee is strong but good. Sadly the baked goods were tasteless.

I've ordered their coffee beans for a few months. I am a real coffee lover and I realized they have such amazing quality coffee beans!
This store is a little bit far from my home but I wish I could visit this store at least once. I want to tour and taste their coffee in the store.
Don't hesitate to order their coffee beans! They send you freshly roasted coffee beans after receiving your order!

I got there by accident looking for Starbucks coffee was great !!! Gurrls were cute n nice
