Perfect diner. Open really early. But beware - you could fall in love with this place and then it would get real awkward when your friend’s like “if you love the hobo so much why don’t you marry it?” And then you realize you should marry it and then you’re gonna be married to a hobo restaurant

I came here with my family to celebrate my parents forty-two anniversary, for drinks, I order one of my go-to beers, Blue Moon.
We started sharing a few appetizers.
Sautéed Calamari: a pan sautéed on olive oil or Marinara sauce, the calamari tasted very fresh and the sauce was not salty had a good taste
Hot Crabmeat and Artichoke Dip: pretty good the crab dip was creamy and head chunks of crab and artichoke in it.
Key Lime Gator oh My God, this was the start of the day very tasty is very hard to describe the exquisite greatness of this dish, I can only mention that every time that my mouth touch and had a bite of this app was a delight to my palate.
For my main course, I had The Louisiana Seafood Combo, which comes Lobster, Shrimp, Scallops, & fresh Mahi broiled with New Orleans spices, and tossed in a "spicy" light pink sauce. I laugh at what they call spicy, the disk didn't even have the s of spicy. But I have to admit the dish was delicious, tasty and creamy portion was big overall was simply magnificent with some hot sauce on the inside I recommend this dish.
The staff did a good job that day they also came with a dessert so my parents would share their special occasion.

It's a great place was there for breakfast. The food is good the place is really clean the staff is always friendly. It is what it is a diner / luncheonette. There is a reason it has been there so long.

I love this place and come here every time I'm in Jersey. They have the BEST waffles in the world! Try the chocolate chip ones with some butter and syrup, you won't regret it.

Pretty good sandwiches, really enjoyed the ham, turkey, swiss and cranberry, not too many places offer cranberry! Just wished the Cole slaw portions were bigger.

Local spot that's been popular for years. Menu still offers lots of homemade fare. Best breakfast in the area. Taste is actually still important (unlike many others that specialize in "bland"). Kind of reminds you of your grandmother's kitchen...best is not always fast.

I didn't know this place and I was impressed with the service, cleanliness and prices of the products.

This is best undiscovered little food place in the area! They have been around for years that the locals love! Breakfast, lunch, whatever you want but they close at 3pm. It is an old style place with counter and table service and waitresses are very nice. Just walk in and sit where you want. I love their pancakes and French toast!!! In the strip mall right near the West Long Branch post office.

Man, this brought me back to my home state of Florida. I use to go to a diner with a similar name. Good location and quick service just like back home. The eggs Benedict were so damn good I could have ordered another serving of them. If you're in the area definitely need to stop in and get a bite to eat here. Next time I'll give the "home fries" a shot. Thanks again! 🤗
