The Painted Pie

We called Painted Pie a few days before a 60 person party and they were absolutely wonderful to work with. Guided us on the right amount of food to order and dropped it off right on time. The food was excellent, can’t go wrong if you are looking to feed a large party!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND for your event or special occasion. The Painted Pie created the cakes for my daughter's wedding in Stone Harbor in October, 2022. We decided to have a regular sized cake for the bride and groom and "side cakes" to be sliced by the caterer for our guests. First of all.... this baker is an artist. His cakes are on another level. The bride and groom wanted the carrot cake, which is a nut-free, raisin-free creation with an orange cream cheese icing. Beyond delicious. The carrot and pineapple in the cake are macerated, so the cake has a sophisticated crumb to it; not the typical chunky carrot cake. The side cakes were chocolate with vanilla butter icing. Perhaps the best chocolate cake I've ever had. An intense chocolate flavor without being overly sweet. We were very impressed with the The Painted Pie!

My wife and I had our wedding cake made here and it was delicious, massive, and incredibly affordable. I can’t recommend The Painted Pie any more!

Got last minute catering from here. I can not recommend this enough, their service and ability to help at the last minute was top notch. Family run business, went out of their way to deliver a great meal. Crab cakes were to die for!

My cake came out amazing and it tasted even better! I will definitely be ordering cakes from here in the future!

So many compliments on our wedding cake - would highly recommend The Painted Pie! We went with a carrot cake flavor, which was divine. With some slight variances in ingredients, it made for a unique flavor, and a great, moist texture. Jerry and Lauren helped us not only ensure the cake tasted delicious, but also looked like the three cake display that was our vision, ordering oyster shells and tapered candles to perfect it. We also ordered a spread of bread, muffins and quiche from The Painted Pie for the morning of our wedding, which likewise exceeded our expectations.

There are not enough amazing words to capture how exquisite everything was, start to finish. Not only was the food absolutely delectable, the catering staff were so polite and professional that our evening progressed seamlessly and guests felt cared-for. The Painted Pie is AWESOME!

Jerry and Lauren Gormley prepared a sumptuous dinner for us. Starting with dates stuffed with pistachios and wrapped in bacon, plus lollipop lamb chops. A salad w/a balsamic reduction, red onions and goat cheese followed. Next, risotto with shitake mushrooms and duck confit. Main course, filet mignon w/horseradish whipped cream and baked shrimp scampi. A trio of desserts-pecan pie, apple pie and chocolate ganache. Excellent tastes, beautiful presentations, all in all a great evening!

A friend sent me cookies for the holiday from this bakery. They arrived in wonderfully decorated packages separated by type of cookie/baked good. The chocolate chip, sugar cookie, and peanut brittle were OUTSTANDING, but the macarons and the french macarons were out of this world! What a fantastic gift!!

I have used the Painted Pie a few times for catering and have been delighted. They are great to work with, and the food is outstanding!!! Don't hesitate...let them do the cooking!
