They best coffee shop in town, period. Consistently top quality, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. The pastries and oatmeals are super yummy too.

Delicious coffee. We came here for freshly roasted coffee beans and we got some free coffee in return. Very happy with the quality of the beans.

A new coffee spot in Princeton downtown! The space is bright and clean, might feel almost cold to some people. Personally I loved the wide and simple space. The coffee wasn't attractive enough though. I wouldn't say I'm picky on coffee taste, but even I would be hesitant getting coffee here instead of other cafes in Princeton. Their coffee is not too strong nor sour, almost bland. The staff were friendly and the service was nice! I would say 3 1/2 stars!

Go for it! I had a yummy, creamy, sweet iced vanilla latte. My sister got the latte on tap, which tasted like thick dark chocolate. And my other sister got their regular coffee, which was not hot enough for her, but which tasted/smelled good.
They also just started serving this lemonade/tea with muddled strawberries and spearmint, which was the PERFECT summer refresher. So tasty, and such friendly service.
Nice vibe. I'm excited to go back after covid and chill in this light, airy corner coffee shop!

I’m not sure what those other reviewers were talking about.
I can’t express how glad I am to finally have an ultra-modern, high quality coffee shop in Princeton. Rojo’s and Small World don’t even compare. If you’re looking for a NYC style coffee shop in the heart of Princeton (as I was), this is the place for you.
Immediately as I entered the establishment, I was greeted by 4 lovely staff members that informed me that this was their “soft opening” and to expect several changes in the coming weeks.
Looking around, the place is absolutely gorgeous. Large windows throughout, cool wooden detailing on the walls, a crisp white aesthetic, and state of the art equipment - they’re using a Sanremo espresso machine (if you didn’t know - they’re top of the line). There’s some sort of futuristic water infuser that some of the workers were using to produce fruit-infused tea and water drinks.
I asked to take some photos because I was so taken aback with the design of the place. They even have countertops made from a local tree that fell.
The barista recommended I try their nitro cold brew, and a shot of their single origin Burundi roast. The cold brew was creamy without anything even being added to it. The Burundi was slightly tangy and citrusy for an espresso, but definitely up there in the top shots of espresso that I’ve consumed in my life – and trust me – that number is well into the hundreds.
I settled on a cortado with the Burundi, and it was steamed to perfection. I, myself, own an espresso machine (it’s no Sanremo) so I can be a stickler on the ratio of water to grounds and the consistency of the milk. This one was on point. I noticed another reviewer noted that the heads weren’t being purged... the barista purged it twice, once before pulling the shot, and once after. I also noticed their lids for cold drinks have a hole so the usage of straws isn’t necessary, and I’m glad they’re being environmentally conscious.
Long story short – I will be a repeat customer. Don’t let these other reviews fool you, these guys really know what they’re doing. Give it a try.

Love that I was greeted with this statement: "welcome to your new favorite coffee shop."
Great vibe and excellent coffee.
I think they may be right.

Super nice place!! Their coffee is not, contrary to classic American style, too dark roasted, so you can actually taste the different parts of the taste! Super delish.
If you are in Princeton this is a definite must go visit. And while you are there, try out the granola bar. You won’t regret it

The staff was so friendly both times I visited, even though I came in very early in the morning. The coffee was so delicious, and I usually don't prefer the taste of coffee to begin with! I ordered a macchiato the first time and a cortado the second, and both were equally enjoyable in their own rite, plus the presentation was beautiful. I fully intend on returning soon!

Great local coffee roaster. They sometimes have a delay on when they put out roasted coffee so we sometimes have week or two week old roasts. If you buy a bag of beans you get a free drink which is nice.
They got Gesha in which was a pleasant surprise. Overall they're a very solid roaster. The pastries always look good.
Update 2023: can confirm cranberry orange scone is delicious. Espresso has been consistent this entire year (free drink with bean purchase). Haven't seen Gesha in a while but their selection is still decent.

Whenever my partner and I have to travel through Princeton we always make sure to make a pit stop at Sakrid. I always order a macchiato, and they’ll always warn me it’s a traditional macchiato and I appreciate that. Espresso is smooth and it always keeps me alert for the drive.
