Such a low key wonderful experience in Ocean City. Everything is delicious. It’s the best lunch spot!!! Their coconut chicken salad is incredible and their chicken salad slaps. All their fancy lattes are so creative and delicious. If you are reading this trying to figure out where to eat lunch…. Go here right now!!!

One of the best lunch places I’ve ever eaten at. This place was super clean, cozy, and the food was outstanding. The Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte was the most delicious latte I’ve ever had. Definitely coming back!

I ordered a coconut chicken salad for pick up today and there was no dressing with my order neither was there the coconut and chicken that came with it. They gave me dry lettuce and melted feta cheese in a container. I understand it is busy but I would rather be told you have too many orders right now than to make two trips just to get my order right. It can’t just be about making money, quality & not wasting your customers time is important too.

Awesome coffee shop and restaurant! Over 20 flavors of lattes to choose from. I've tried the Cremé Brulee and the Johnson's popcorn lattes and they're both delicious!

I am now 75 and retired in Arizona. I flew back to Cape May County to see my grandchildren. When my friend (Dee) suggested we go to Jon and Patty’s for breakfast/lunch, I was ecstatic because I taught Jon religion in Holy Spirit. I couldn’t wait to see him. He and his sister were two of my favorite students so you can imagine when we all ate there. I asked our waitress if Jon or his wife were there as I wanted to see him. She said Jon was not there but that Patty was there. I wrote Jon a note and wanted to give it to Patty to give him. I explained who I was. The waitress came back and said, “Patty is too busy to come see you and asked if I was asking for a discount or anything?” I was so saddened by this response. I paid my bill and left very sad. I wonder if Jon even remembers me. I don’t even know if the food was ok. I was so taken back. Update: the new owners contacted me. This happened a while ago and I should have written it when it happened. Thanks to the new owners. I’m sure they’ll be successful and if I get back east, I’ll stop in because I know them too. Thanks

Food is pretty good, but the wait times are unbearable, they shouldn’t take on so many customers if they can’t handle it. We ordered two dishes online and it said estimated 20 minutes. After waiting over an hour we went back becuase they didn’t give us ketchup or salt, and told us they couldn’t give us salt? What restaurant does not have salt? We also sat down for food and waited over an hour when we were physically in the restaurant.

Coffee is just the beginning! Chicken soup tasted like it had been simmering all day - so good. Chicken salad used good cuts of breast meat and was put together well with cranberry bread.
Blankets for the chill of outdoor seating in winter. Small seating indoors. So best chance of good seating might be off season (we were there in Feb) or off-hours.
Big group seating could be an issue.

I have been here twice, several months apart, once for breakfast and once for dinner, because the reviews are so strong. I have eaten at about 500 hundred different restaurants of every type and every level, all around the world. IMO the reviews for Jon & Patty's have been way too generous. At best, this is a three star place. I would've gone two stars but the service is friendly. It is ok, but not great. They don't nail it.

We've gone to Jon and Patty's many times in the past, have brought friends and out of town guests there that didn't know the place, and it's been a real family favorite. This time we went for the Santa breakfast and the Santa was excellent, he spent time with the children, was authentic and positive, he was excellent. Unfortunately the service and the food have taken a huge dive. Orders took forever despite it not being super busy, were half the size they had been in the past, were served without necessary parts, things were served burnt, and missing items were just tossed onto our table after we had to go and get the server to even get the items because they never checked back. No apology, no checking to see if we had what we needed, and a very prolonged time just getting our check to get out of there, after we asked. Even the front desk wasn't very welcoming which is again a big difference from the usual warm welcome. It was all a huge disappointment.
